One of our favourite places to eat, staff are very polite, food is excellent and great value for money. Would highly recommend for a cracking curry!
Great friendly service, lovely environment and good food. The night went without a hitch and all aspects of our meal were fabulous. Thanks for looking after us.
Great food and good service. We'll be back for the Lamb puri and the Chicken Jalfrezi. Even the hot version was mild by others standards.
The whole of our visit to the Bridge and Bayleaf was enjoyable. We found the staff very welcoming and attentive and they took time to explain the options for our food choices. Our meals were all extremely tasty and plentiful and we felt that the prices were reasonable too. We look forward to our next visit.
Absolutely wonderful! Wonderful booking service. Wonderful location. Wonderful greeting. Wonderful service, wonderful food, wonderful evening! Go and experience it for yourselves. You won't be disappointed! 😄
Really nice atmosphere, delicious food and really lovely polite staff. Would definitely go back and recommend friends and family. Will also be using the takeaway service from now on!
Amazing food. The staff were excellent so polite and really accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely food freshly prepared and adjusted to suit the two children's taste. xx
Food was lovely, but a bit too spicy for me. Service a bit slow unfortunately but the staff were very Friendly. Beautiful place, with great decor.
Excellent food and excellent, courteous service. They are extremely busy Fri and Sat so you'd need to book; but if you'd appreciate a quieter evening, then go on a Sunday.
The service was excellent and quality of food up to it's usual high standard. The location is great and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Overlook the fact that the outside looks a bit of a mess, as the food is of tremendous quality. Be warned that the portion sizes are very generous. We will be back!
We had to wait nearly an hour for our table, however the food was fantastic and the service was good, we even got a lift home with their delivery driver.
Always great food and ambience to be able to have a natter. We decided to try the garlic and coriander naan instead of our usual and delicious peshwari naan and there were no regrets - aromatic, light and tasty. Whether for a meal or takeout it is well worth the one hour round trip
The restaurant had a nice feel and decor and is in a pretty location. We had a table overlooking the river. The staff were attentive and helpful in making suggestions on what to eat. The food was very tasty. It was a Wednesday night so the restaurant was not busy.
Well another lovely meal at the B&B... went with some friends over from New Zealand and they were totally impressed with the riverside location, fresh and tasty food and excellent service. Keep up the good work guys!
Nice atmosphere, nice setting, nice food! One of the best indian meals I have had for a while, would definitely recommend. Staff friendly and welcoming. Slight hitch with a fly in my friends rice, but they are by the river and it was warm, and they replaced without hesitation, so cannot fault them and wouldn't put me off going again!
Very good food, Relaxed atmosphere, very helpful but unintrusive staff. We really enjoyed our evening and expect to go back especially for s special occasional.
Really tasty food - I recommend any of the paneer dishes and the peshwari naans. I even travel 30 minutes to collect takeout from this place!
we enjoyed our visit and had a very nice evening, the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will visit again. Thank you
Very enjoyable evening, excellent food and service in very pleasant surroundings. Also very good value for money we will definitely be making a turn visit.
Excellent food. Beautiful venue. Staff lite ro attentive . Did feel like we had to leave before we wanted to But would go back again
The Food was all lovely. Service was not the best & a little unpredictable. Great location especially if you get the weather to sit out by the river.
Went there for the first time for our 10th wedding anniversary. Food and service was excellent, we really enjoyed it. Location is beautiful, one of my favourite places.
Took my daughter and son inlaw, first time they had been. They thoroughlt enjoyed the evenjng. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Definitely go again. Thanks to all the staff
Very friendly and courteous staff, couldn't fault the service at all. Also, the food was excellent! The best Indian food I've had in a very long time, will definitely be going again in the future.
Good food in a really nice environment, service was spot on, with just the right amount of speed, attention and interest, not too pushy. Overall good, we will return
Great food and enormous portions without the large price tag. Will definitely go there again in the future. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian food.
The waiters were polite, respectful and new how to treat customers. The food was amazing, and my family couldn't stop raving about the the Bridge and Baylead all the way home. Best curry for miles!!!
Excellent service and great food. They go the extra mile to make a distinctive dining experience. It's not the easiest place to find, but the online booking facility compensates for that.
I had a brilliant evening celebrating my birthday with several friends. The service and food were both excellent and I would definitely recommend this to others. I intend to visit again next time I'm in Nottingham.
The Bridge and Bayleaf is in a delightful location by the river. The food was excellent and well presented and the service was efficient and friendly. A great discovery i will definitely be returning again in the near future.
Very accommodating. Could maybe think about a choice for children, for family visits. Staff were super friendly. Very pleased with the service we received. Restaurant was very busy which is always excellent.
Our first visit to The Bridge and Bayleaf. Its a very pleasantly decorated restaurant, with a nice pre-meal 'comfy sofa' area, to have a drink before-hand. The main eating area has partially zoned areas to make things a bit more private. The service we received was just a little lacking. We ordered the set meal for 4 and when the waiters bought the different dishes out, they didn't seem to know what we had ordered i.e the set meal. After about a further 5 mins of waiting, we then had to remind staff that we hadn't received any rice yet. The rice was delivered to the table after only another two or three mins, but the main dishes were cooling by this time. Having said that, the food was very good, with just the right amount of spice for our pallets. The staff were very polite and attentive and if it hadn't been for the earlier 'oversights' the meal would have just about been value for money. In view of those basic errors though, we thought that the overall experience fell a little short for the price we had all paid
A very pleasant evening with good food expertly prepared and served. One problem with loud diners on an shave the table resolved to our complete satisfaction.
Excellent menu choice and standard of cooking, really good service and venue ambience, prices quite reasonable. A little more parking space would have been welcome!
Amazing Indian restaurant. Lovely staff lovely setting and brilliant food. Would highly recommend. Will be booking again for a family meal over the next few weeks. If you like Indian food you'll love it!
Onion bargee under cooked. And chicken curry was so bland it had to be sent back. Disappointing as we normally rave about this usually great place to eat
Lovely meal which was well presented and delicious! Nice menu choice and great value for money. Great portion sizes we were full and no room for pud!
Friendly welcome. Good service. Good choice on menu. Very tasty food. We were sat by window which was a bit cold but otherwise enjoyed the experience and will definitely go again.
This is the best curry for miles around. Try the dehsi!! Beautiful food and location - nothing not to like as far as I'm concerned..
Very attentive waiting staff without being overly pushy. The food was very good and portions large. The prices are about average for a nice Indian restaurant. Overall a good experience and lovely atmosphere.
The staff were welcoming and attentive as always, and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food is always fresh and flavoursome and once again we were not disappointed. Portions are always on the generous size and we left very full!
Good service, Menu a little expensive for what you got, charged for a extra chippatie and the pickles when what was recieved on the set menu was short. Curry very sweet and could not eat the sauce. My partners curry had a request of no sugar and was great. Think a reduction in sugar would have made the meal much better. Have eaten in many Asian restaurants up and down the country and this restaurants rates on 13/02/2016 as ok.
Lovely evening as always. He food was delicious and the service was attentive. I would definitely recommend and we will be back soon! Thank you
Really good food and great service. Chicken was beautifully cooked would recommend and defiantly return, starters were really nice to however salmon was slightly over cooked, often come along a hidden gem!
Good service, nice food, only slight criticism would be that the food was too salty in our opinion. Parking is also very difficult outside, very limited space.
Great food and great service , love going here for special occasions. They also do great takeaway. Would recommend to anyone, especially the gorgeous peshwari nan , best I've ever had.
Onion bhaji too stodgy - accompanying salad too dry and crunchy. Main courses were very tasty - highly recommend the peshwari naan - it was delicious!
We were delighted to enjoy excellent food, truly great service and a quality atmosphere on our first and recent visit to the Bridge and Bayleaf
Lovely place and nice food. Would go back again. Staff all very friendly. Menu had alot to choose from, slightly more than we would usually pay but this is find every now and then.
