Fabulous service and Sunday roast! Although the restaurant was very busy our food arrived very quickly and was delicious - the beef was especially good.

Great food & great service. Very busy so had to wait even, though we had booked. Although this is probably a good sign. I would defiantly recommend!

Essential to reserve a table. The on line booking system was very efficient. The food was outstanding. In particular the shoulder of lamb, duck and the steak pudding. They were very filling. Highly recommended. As it was a hot night it was helpful that shorts could be worn. The overall bill for 2 people with three courses and a bottle of wine was £80. As the food we selected was filling three courses was too much for us. Other people had cheaper meals and less courses.

Great food, excellent service!! Great set up in the gardens. This place has it all! I messed up my booking date, management went out of their way To accommodate me and my friends that were visiting from the USA. Thanks once again

We had a lovely meal . Good porchen,sizes. The start are very friendly. Would recommend ..... there is a very nice garden, . And also dog friendly

The food was of a very high standard and reasonably priced . The staff were pleasant and very attentive. A frriendly atmosphere. Have been several times and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

I enjoyed my evening, the food was good and fresh, it could have been tastier, i had the special the sea bass, and the brownie which again wss quite heavy. The pub is in a good location, but in the restaurant it was very loud.

Consistently good food, excellent service... the owners have vastly improved the gardens convivial ambience . I would warmly recommend this gem of a pub to anyone .

The quality of the food is superb and cannot fault it. To drive 180 mile round trip shows what we think of the food. It is well worth the day out. The steak and kidney pudding and calves liver and bacon is well worth the trip for a special occasion.

Good food, except crackling a bit greasy. Place in one corner next to other customers when rest of restaurant was empty, could of spaced out a little more

Fast service, friendly staff and delicious food. Have visited a few times before and will definately be visiting again. Easy to get to and good sized car park... Even on a Sunday!

Great food, great atmosphere and what I rate above all else is the customer service has consistently been excellent over the years. Beautifully done building and gardens too.

Food ok but table tiny, too small for 2 and coffee undrinkable - twice. Waitress very efficient and friendly. Parking a bit of a nightmare but very popular place.

Warm hearted, friendly staff. Reliably high quality food - a great range that contains old favourites and chefs specials. The Brickmakers’ never disappoints. This is why it is so popular, so you do need to book in advance to avoid disappointment!

Excellent service, great value for money, the food is exceptional and the specials board “is really special”. It really is just a great place to go.

This was a lunchtime visit and it was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday - we had booked. Generous portions and friendly efficient service. We ordered haddock and chips, plaice goujons and chips and steak and kidney pudding with mash. None of us were disappointed. A first visit to a pub we had only heard good things about - we will be back!

Very enjoyable mid-week lunch - good menu, pleasant service & has London Pride beer on tap. Parking adequate - may be challenging on the weekends.

Great food choices and at value for money. Service very good overall. Only downside was our table was very close to the food prep area and traffic flow. It was difficult to converse with one another.

Lovely setting, excellent food and fantastic service - everything I want from a meal out. Caution though, their portions are large and we ate far too much!

Really lovely meal with friends. Well presented and good service by all staff. Great menu and all this made for a wonderful night and we will be back.
