Really good food but would have been nice for a little more warning about the service charge.

Had the Sunday roast, it was amazing. Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding it was so tasty and so nicely presented I felt like I was on MasterChef. Desert was lovely too, I had the lemon meringue tart with raspberries and sorbet. Best meal I've had in years. I will definitely be back. 😉👍

I absolutely love the food here. The deep fried pickles are just amazing, the puffed potato with pulled pork amazing, the pana cotta with rhubarb sorbet also amazing. The crab crustini was so light and fresh and perfect. My friend had the mussels and apparently they are amazing too! Also, on top of, that Lucy one of the owners is so lovely and friendly. It was a perfect dining experience. A really perfect lunch from a small local business owner. We couldn't have been more delighted.

It was our 56th wedding anniversary our first visit to the restaurant everything was perfect food was lovely staff friendly and professional certainly would go back and recommend to others regards Tom McKenna

It’s a lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Lovely food too. My only thing I would suggest is where I don’t mind paying a service charge perhaps make people aware of this in advance as I have done previously in other places as people often have to save to go out for a treat and this may take them by surprise and cause embarrassment. Not everybody looks at the website either so this info may be on there but people will miss that.

Food was lovely, as were the cocktails. Only slight niggle was the main reason we had visited for dinner at Braided Fig - to have some of those cracking desserts again - we were unable to have due to the new COVID regulations and our bill being presented to us at 19:45 as were polishing off our main courses. We'll try to visit a bit earlier than 6pm next time

Had never been before & being Aberdeen Restaurant Week decided to book....was not disappointed.

Lovely meal with excellent service. I had the honey chilli chicken wantons which were lovely, followed by Eton Mess. (This was a lot smaller than I would have expected for the price) other than the eron mess the whole visit was brilliant.

Fantastic! Went with a friend and was first time out since lockdown for some drinks and food. Staff were very attentive and food was very good. Will definitely be back again soon.

Great experience from booking to end. Everything they did was superb from initial booking for table, getting a booking for drinks first. Food was lovely and staff were brilliant all night. Thoroughly recommend this place to all.

this was our 2nd visit this month and we had an excellent meal and time on both occasions. The food is very good and well presented.

Very good meal unfortunately in these trying times with virus problem lacking a wee bit of atmosphere - quite understandable.

Been to the braided fig a number of times and it never disappoints, we went just after the 1st lockdown & we were made to feel very welcome & safe. We brought 2 of our children along too & they very much enjoyed their meal. We’ve booked again for tomorrow this time without the kids. Mum & Dad date lunch 😊

Went here for late lunch with my mate. The vegan options were fantastic - not just the usual unimaginative 2 options a lot of places offer! We ordered 2 vegan starters and 2 vegan mains and shared them. The cauliflower starter was amazing, as was the mac n chees main. I also think (although I can't totally remember) that the waitress was able to identify the vegan wines (although I might be mixing this up with another restaurant!) I will definitely be back to check - once the local lockdown is lifted!!

The food was excellent, the restaurant was chilly when we arrived, maybe it was because we had a 5pm booking, it took a while to heat up,. The server was really friendly and helpful. Will def be back.
