The food is always very good. Decent portion sizes. And good value. The steaks are amazing

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch but there wasn’t any heating on! And after 3 requests it still hadn’t been put on as we left? It was a chilly day so many of the diners, including us, ate with their coats on! Would have stayed for desserts but went home to warm up! End of October, is there a problem with the heating?

A late Sunday lunch, very busy but served quickly, food excellent as usual. Cant beat supporting local businesses that try hard to please. Staff very helpful and friendly!!!

Again the food was OK and the pricing fairly competitive, but the service is nothing to write home about, we always go when they are not busy but it still takes way too long to be served. On this occasion we were served only 2 of the 3 meals ordered!

The food was good and reasonably prices. The service was OK but not anything special. We had booked a table and the place was empty and we still asked if we had booked and were made to wait before being shown to a table!

Don't think we will be coming for a return visit in a hurry. Table was booked for 1pm and our order was not taken until at least 1.30pm. When eventually our food arrived one starter was missing with no attempt to ask if another was required just a free dessert which by the time we got through our main course we had no time for. As for the main course... the chicken was cooked way too much that it was dried out, and the burgers were very dry too. Definitely not impressed sorry to say.

Easy parking, nice ambience, good food, excellent service. An ideal place to keep in touch with friends or colleagues over a "pub lunch". What could possibly go wrong?

Waited over an hour for food. Had to ask someone to take our order after 35 minutes of looking at the menu and when the girl came to is, she was rude. That being said, food was lovely! I hope it was just a one off... the place has recently been extended so hoping they haven't given themselves too much to handle..

Great food and great choice beers. Service was generally good from young staff. Natalie particularly good and attentive, switched on and aware of customer service. The extension area is lovely. Will return soon.

Nice restaurant off the side of The Bowling Green pub, we sat in the new dining area which was very nice. There is a good selection of food and it is always well cooked.

The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and superb, the restaurant is great and it was such brilliant value for money. Will absolutely be coming back.

Good food service. Meals with potatoes and vegetables bit pricey for size of meal. Saturday evening only one portion pate one lamb available. worth visit.

Excellent service together with excellent food. Good choice of menu with something to suit most people. I had a rack which was very good. One of my friends had the belly pork which looked delicious. Would recommend it.

The food was excellent but the service could have been better. We had a table at the end of the restaurant and felt crammed in. We had to keep asking for service rather than anyone coming to see if we needed any drinks.

The Service was slow. Meat was a bit tough. Asked for no jalopenos but got them anyway. We were a little dissapointed and wouldn't rush back

Great meal, really attentive service in very nice surroundings. We were a party of 8 and I provided the meal selection ahead of arriving as we were on a tight time scale, all meals delivered on time and all the party were really pleased. Great overall experience - thanks team.

Good quality food well-presented. Two functions were also booked for this afternoon, so the staff were very busy and there was some delay in being seated but the manager had everything under control. A positive experience and we will be going again.
