Very helpful staff, cosy warm and inviting. Will be visiting again when back in Northcote Road. A little gem in Clapham. They accept dogs too.

One of my favourite London pubs. Cosy and very nicely decorated. Food and wine were both excellent! The staff are very friendly and the service is great!

Lovely evening at The Bolingbroke last night. Good choice on the menu with us all enjoying our meals. The sea bass was delicious. Great food, good wine & excellent service.

Lovely pub and atmosphere. Good meal but could be much better. More variety with food options would be great as menu stays pretty much the same and better quality food. It is still great but could be better. Service was good.

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. A very good local pub with gastronomic twist with big tables which can cater for relatively big groups and families.

Lovely food, attentive service, lovely surroundings, reasonably priced! Sunday menu was delicious BUT you have to try the Nutella gnocchi ✅ This place came recommended and didn’t disappoint 😎

Really nice afternoon lunch at the Bolingbroke with friends. The service and food were excellent and the Christmas decorations are probably the best I've seen in a pub, so festive and cosy! The only reason I'm not scoring 6 is that prices were quite steep but otherwise a wonderful meal.

We’ve been coming every Christmas time for the past 6 years. This year the food was very average, not what we were expecting. Mushroom wellington was sliced mushrooms wrapped in pastry with gravy granules. Very underwhelmed.

The Bolingbroke created a lovely Christmas environment for my father and I to enjoy our Christmas Eve dinner. Such lovely service and a delicious meal. Thank you!

Last night - the worst food I have eaten by a long shot. Flabby, tasteless fish. I had to put salt on and I never do usually do that. Broccoli and padron peppers both underdone, even after a second attempt. Calamari not good. Pasta looked dry. A shame because this place is normally OK - it's never excellent food but it's easy enough with a good selection for different tastes. Being busy is not an excuse - I could have done a better job and I hate cooking!

We were looking forward to a leisurely meal but our food arrived very quickly. The roast was nice, but not amazing. We were offered dessert immediately afterwards and it all felt a bit rushed. The staff were very friendly and it was the usual great atmosphere in the pub.

Service was dreadful. I know it was Saturday but we kept getting left for ages, nobody checking if we wanted anything else etc. Food was also pretty dire, we had steaks that were totally tasteless, no seasoning, chips were bland, I only ate one of mine. Wasnt cheap either. Do not think I will be returning sadly. The 2 star rating was because we had a good table and that starter was ok.

My husband's choice on the menu was not available (sirloin steak), which was very disappointing considering we were eating at 20:30. This is not late.

We had a lovely lunch at the Bolingbroke pub. The halloumi salad was delicious and very fresh. We shared the banofee pie and brownie for dessert both of which were yummy. They gave us plenty of space for our babies any high chairs. Overall a great experience.

Shocking, tasteless food, Luke warm , I had the herb crusted fish and I have to say it’s the worst dish I have tasted in along time , I’m sad to say I would not recommend you and I will never return.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. It’s lovely to have such a great, pet-friendly place just around the corner. Can get very noisy in the evening, but it all adds to the fun!

Food was good, service was quick, relaxed ambiance. Unsurprisingly, given the location, caters well for families with kids. The day specials were very interesting. The menu includes vegan options.

Favourite place to go for a gorgeous meal with great wine list, beautiful ambiance and very attentive helpful staff. We got 3 plates to start - the croquettes were mouth watering!! I had the pheasant for a main, highly recommend.

Lovely Sunday lunch - service was quick and friendly. Quite strict on the max 2 hour sitting, so be aware of that. But otherwise can’t fault the experience - we had a lovely time.

Lunch with friends at The Bolingbroke using a 50% off food voucher. Limited menu with simple dishes but the food was first class; delicious and well presented. The relaxed, friendly service was a bit slow but this suited our occasion fine. The individual chicken and mushroom pie from the specials board served with fresh vegetables (or chips if you must!) was excellent and the burgers juicy and perfectly cooked. At the price we paid (approx £17 each for two courses and an alcoholic drink including 12.5% added service) extremely good value for money.

Lovely food and wonderful service. The lunch menu was slightly limited but suitable enough and the catering for children was second to none. The pub itself was light and airy and a really pleasant place to eat. The 60% off food voucher helped obviously!!!

Great food. Only let down was the eton mess - which was 95% cream, 5% meringue. They were very patient with us as we had a lot of children there which was very helpful. Service was good albeit a little slow (that suited us though). The Bar Manager was not overly friendly though.

The table we had in the front room was just way too noisy - we were only 6 people but we really couldn't hear each other and it spoilt the atmosphere. Perhaps a glass dividing wall between the bar and the restaurant would help this.

I had a good lunch there with a colleague. The red wine the waiter chose for us was superb and the food quite delicious. I cannot give The Bolingbroke the full 6 points as the music playing for the first half hour or so was loud techno dance music totally inappropriate for lunchtime. At our and another customer's request the music was first turned off completely and then later resumed very quietly with relaxing music.
