Nice atmosphere, good food, the ribs were very tasty and so was the pudding. Starter a bit tasteless but overall good pub food. Service was very nice.

We had a super Sunday lunch at the Bolingbroke. Great service, food and ambience. There was a high chair and crayons ready for the 2 year old and the staff were attentive without being pushy. I cannot recommend it highly enough and we shall be going again.

Lack of bread as they had sold out & it was really loud so difficult to hear someone's next to me talk but other than that fantastic food & experience

Amazing service and staff! We love this place. Jess and the team look after you so well, and its a great venue. They have recently changed the menu which is nice, but I was sad to see they have taken off the Chilean Chardonnay as it was a super wine. We will be back, as there is always a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent and really decent sized portions. A lively, buzzy atmosphere but not too noisy. Staff were attentive yet discreet. Would happily go back.

We booked an early table for the Saturday night and were put in the back room where all other table were empty for a good 45 minutes. We were put on a small table next to the door to the kitchen which was in constant use and caused sucha draft we ate with our coats on. When we asked to move to another empty tabel we were ignored for well over 5 minutes and told they were waiting for the manager to approve it as people ahd booked particular tables. Not happy.

Efficient and friendly service. Super characterful London pub with a buzzy atmosphere and space to sit at the bar. Food pretty good. Would definately recommend.

Food good but VERY VERY noisy for any table in the front near the bar. Conversation very difficult if not impossible which detracted from the experience.

It was relatively quiet on a Wednesday evening but as always the food was fantastic. A really lovely pub overall and one I look forward to returning to

What's happened here? Normally the food is very good but this time we were presented with soggy chips and a 'grilled' mackerel caesar salad which was like a piece of curled up rubber on a few wilted leaves. Hopefully just an off day :(

Asked for solarium, didn't get it - a bit disappointing. Overall on point service, good food and brought the cake out with candles to the right person. So all in all, really good.

I love the Bolingbroke for the atmosphere and their huge Sunday roasts. The wine list could be improved. Needs more bold, smooth reds! Can get very noisy in the back room if the decorations aren't up (which absorb some of the sound).

Always good atmosphere and great food at The Bolingbroke. Service was friendly and reasonable prices for food and drink. The only thing that would make it better is if it were that little bit closer to home.

Excellent throughout. Great food and friendly welcoming service. There are many restaurants to choose from in the area. Not many that we return to. The Bolingbroke is the exception, we are never disappointed.

Friendly waitress but rather rude bar manager who said no kids after 8pm (we arrived at 7pm) and made no effort to be jolly. Good food though

Food was lovely but service was incredibly slow. I undertand Sundays are busy but this was really slow. Table we had was bumped into by a male member of staff a few times without one apology or slight akmoledwment. Overall an ok experience.

When we arrived the table was not ready for another 20 minutes. We were also then put on a very small table so our meal was cramped. We had three buggies with us, which I pre warned them about, but there was no where for them to go. So My husband and i had to eat passing our baby between us. The food was fine, but we felt rushed as we only had a two hour time slot. That's not long enough for a group of six.

Great for a Bank Holiday lunch with friends and children. Really relaxed atmosphere, and good food. I'd like a little more variety and creativity on the menu, but perhaps it was just limited because we had the Sunday menu.

I went with three others to the Bolingbroke on a Tuesday evening on their August 50% off food offer! The atmosphere was both modern and cosy, lovely decor and nice ambience. There was a great choice on the menu, approx 5-6 choices for each course and all the food was tasty and well executed. Service was pleasing and the whole experience was great, worth repeating. The price was incredibly reasonable on the offer but wouldn't be unreasonable even when the offer is not available. I look forward to going back. Parking was easy too after 6.30pm !

Disappointing. We were a party of 5 + an 8 year old. Very noisy (had been warned about this by friends) may be it's the wooden walls. Strange mismatched chairs, some 'school' wooden chairs, hard & uncomfortable, the ones with (worn & marked) round padded cushions were too high. Staff not very interested, nice Sunday menu. My roast lamb was very chewy, the vegetables were far too 'al dente' and could not be cut with a knife. We were not asked if we enjoyed our meal or I would have complained about the lamb. Had to ask for mint sauce which came as a le of mint from a jar of shop-bought not very nice mint sauce. Sea bass was tasty as was the pork but it was not a cheap meal and did not live up to expectations. We will not go there again.
