The food and service are excellent but the place could do with a bit of refurbishment, especially the carpet. It is always busy so best to book

A warm and friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious. The only fown dude was the wait in the queue for the carvery - but that was expected at 2.30 on a Sunday. Overall, an extremely positive experience, highly recommended!

We went 8 people for Sunday Carvery and it was brilliant as usual, we booked on Friday to ensure the availability of spaces, because on Sundays is usually fully booked. If there is good weather you could eat outside.

We couldn't fault the Sunday lunch, really nice, only thing we just didn't like was the seating lay out, small round table's practically on top of the bar no sorry.

Spot on. Great wholesome food, good portions and attentive staff. Makes a really nice change from the 'Bistro Pub' or the chains with their mass produced offerings. Highly recommended

We were not impressed. Sorry. Didn't like the seating arrangement. We sat under the television, which had football playing. The vegetables didn't look appetising, either.

We did have to send one meal back because the omelette was burnt, but the replacement was lovely. It was just a shame as it was our anniversary. I would return to the Blue Bell as I like the pub and the meals are very good. The staff are very friendly.

I have many fond memories of the Blue Bell Cider House from a few years back, so it was quite sad to see that the decor is now looking a bit tired. The staff were lovely and friendly, as well as being very helpful and attentive. The range of beers is still good. I also had half a pint of one of the 3 ciders on offer, just right. We chose from the over 50s 3 course lunch menu. The food was simple and portions were copious. Rather odd that when I booked on line it said that I should hurry because there were only a few places left. There were, however, not many diners.

Fabulous carvery I'm vegetarian but there was more than enough vegetables for me to eat and I was offered a meat free gravy. The ratatouille was delicious. My husband loved the beef it said it melted in his mouth. We will be going back.

Lovely food, nice and hot. Large portions. Service at the bar could be a little quicker, they prefer to serve the locals before anyone else!
