Lovely restaurant, fantastic meal and great service all round. I would like to thank the staff as it was a really great night and we would certainly return.

Nice meal. Great helpful staff. Pretty busy. Good atmosphere, nice setting in lovely village in North Notts. First time in the pub for years. Will be back - overall Very Good.

We live in the village but have never eaten here. We met up for a family breakfast. It was a nice atmosphere, with friendly staff, and lovely food. Perfect.

Excellent service, interesting menu, well cooked food that was nicely presented. Just wished there was a little more of it. Would definitely go back though.

Friendly staff and excellent food and service. Excellent value for money. I’ve eaten at restaurants charging at least double our bill was and they were no where near the mark of The Black Bull. We’ll be back

Amazing experience as always. The pig head terine and pie was a favourite of ours. The bread was lovely and amazing attentive service from Emily. She is a keeper :)

Fantastic restaurant! Great staff and good service. Great food at a good price in a relaxed atmosphere. My children loved the food too. Will definitely visit again.

Really nice pub with a good selection of beers and spirits. The staff were very friendly amd professional. The food was Superb with perfect portion sizes.

It was an ok experience, just not a great experience. The food was good, atmosphere awful. The waitresses abrupt. The restaurant had no ambience. No music, no candles just an overwhelming loud 60th Birthday party in the next room. They would have done better to close the restaurant if they are going to host that kind of event. I think with 30% more effort, it could be a gem. Rather than little more than average.

Tastefully decorated Pub/Restaurant. Out of the ordinary menu crafted and well presented. Topped with cheerful enthusiastic service. Good all round. Thank you to the owner for help with the parking

Fabulous place, lovely food but the steak was half fat which was disappointing as the starters were amazing. Steak was taken off the bill. Will definitely return. Good service. Overall with a little more attention to detail it would be faultless.

Booked a table for 5:45, got there early so we could have a couple of drinks, only to be told that the restuarant doesnt open till 6pm. I had indicated that my wife couldnt have dairy and they had not made a note of that and every meal contained dairy. They couldnt even do a vegan pizza. Very disapointed, normal the fodd is amazing and the service is great, not this time. Shan't be in a hurry to book again.

This is our second visit and once again was not disappointed. Food is amazing and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous at all times. Will definitely be coming back.

Food is absolutely amazing, interesting flavour combinations in a relaxed restaurant. Service staff are also polite, helpful and efficient, answering all of your queries about the dishes.

Screaming child seated nearby ruining atmosphere. Music playing was not suited to setting. Service good and food nice. More parking required for customers. Goon gin selection.

Fantasitc meal at the black bull in Blidworth. The tasting menu is incredible value for money Wont be long till this place gets a Mitchlin star. Thank you Emily for the great service. Lewis and Craig are bringing this pub to new heights.

Gorgeous food... very Heston Blumenthal which makes it all the more fun. you never know how your food will look but always tastes amazing. we only went for lunch and it's not that filling even for 3 courses but the whole experience of not knowing what's coming out on your plate is amazing x

Really lovely meal using quality ingredients. Exceptional service with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Beautifully warm and clean environment through to the toilets which reflected the high standards throughout. The perfect location to entertain guests. We’ll be back .

This was our first time eating here and we live on the doorstep. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly and polite. We didn’t have to wait long to be served either. We will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis.

The Black Bull is a gem of a restaurant with a friendly, cosy pub if you just want to stop by for drinks or snacks. Compliments to everyone involved. Excellent!

A fabulous food experience over all. The starter of quail was stunning, the hoggert was flavoursome and robust. I wasn't keen on my beetroot and gin tart but o admire the ambition. Eat here now! A small note to the owner - the experience overall would be improved by updating the dining room which doesn't match the food in any way.

Amazing food extremely reasonable. We love to go here and the menu is different every time. You cant beat the Sunday roasts and the starters, desserts are amazing.

Fabulous breakfast. Almost perfect experience, just a couple of minor points - Awkward welcome, no music till the food arrived and no black pudding.

I booked online which was very easy, I parked without a problem, greeted very nicely, drinks delivered quickly and the restaurant is very clean and decorated to a great standard , we ordered pizzas, they were excellent, service brilliant, I will definantly return.

Our meal at the Black Bull was absolutely excellent. There wasn't one item on the Tasting menu that I wouldn't have again! The girl who served us was really knowledgeable, clearly explaining what each dish was when she brought it out. The Chefs are extremely talented and creative. Why on earth haven't they been awarded a Michelin star yet?!

Fantastic, fresh food using interesting flavour combinations. Food was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced too! Service was also excellent, waitresses were efficient, polite and helpful!

Food was excellent, however staff a little disorganized with which menus they were handing out,we didn't get offered the tasting menu when other people did.
