The Bieldside Inn

Food is consistently good and it's a nice place to spend an evening with friends. Table we sat at was fine but bit of a draught being in line with the front entrance.

The choice and quality of food was good, the service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere great. We've been here before and will be back

Great food & service spoiled by being seated in the bar area at a high bar table beside young families- it was being like in a crèche at playtime!

Lovely food, good service....very enjoyable experience. I can recommend this place for a good gluten free menu and good quality children's food which my grandson enjoyed.

The food was good and well priced, atmosphere with the ladies who lunch was good and added to the view over the countryside. The two waiters were rushed off their feed but did well to keep up with service. Will definitely return.

Lovely food . Staff a wee bit surly. Didn't have everything on the menu so a bit disappointing from that respect , but the food itself was great and service very prompt. Very helpful with fussy eating child requests

The Bieldside has sadly gone downhill, no welcome greeting , half of the options on menu were unavailable and the fish and chips tasted really oily. Used to really enjoy going here but will not be back

Food lovely and well presented. Good atmosphere as quite busy for a tuesday. Did have to go to the bar once or twice for drinks as no one came to the table, but on the whole a perfect venue for a relaxed evening with friends

Food, atmosphere and service were good. Coffee machine was broken so no hot drinks - not even a kettle and no prospect of it being fixed.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch. Appreciated the choice of innovative dishes and found the price of £10:95 for two quality courses beautifully presented very good value. Also liked the stylish and attractive surroundings and attentive service and am eager to return and to enjoy drinks on the outside balcony looking towards the hills on finer days.

Good service, friendly but unassuming and good food. Not huge proportions but perfectly adequate for lunch. Plenty of room in the restaurant and a decent car park.

When we arrived our table was not ready so was shown to a nice table in the lounge area where we received our first drinks on the house (nice touch). Didn't have to wait long about 15 mins and was taken to our table, we placed our drinks and food order which was spot on, but there after the service lacked some what. I went to the bar twice to get our own drinks and was not asked if we would like a sweet till we were ready to leave. This did not spoil the meal for us but is something I feel the management should perhaps look at. Over all nice restaurant and well worth a visit.

The Bieldside Inn is a lovely restaurant with great food and a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Good menu choices for adults and child friendly too.

The restaurant is nicely laid out with plenty room between the tables. The staff were pleasant and attentive but please guys SMILE! The meal was good. Fresh ingredients and nice and hot and well presented. We waited a while to have our orders taken and the restaurant wasn't busy. We would go back again.

Food and service very good. Atmosphere not to be faulted either. We are fortunate to have such a good restaurant so near where we live.

The food and service was excellent, the restaurant was fairly busy on the Sunday we went for lunch, the atmosphere was good and we didn't feel at all rushed. The overall experience was very good I would highly recommend the Bieldside Inn.

Lovely surroundings and attentive and polite staff. Really liked the variety of the Menu and when the food arrived it was marvelous. Would definitely return.

Our meal was very nice, however it was a bit disconcerting when we arrived to find that they had no knowledge of my booking.....they had obviously not been informed! Thankfully, they were quiet and could accommodate our party.

Food and service was very good. Good selection on the menu especially the desserts.

Excellent restaurant, the food exceeded our expectations ! Friendly staff and warm atmosphere, reasonable prices, great wine selection what's not to like? :) We will be back !!!!!!

Good value and nicely presented food. The staff were very pleasant but could have been more attentive. A very good selection of beers and wines are available.
