No table booked when we arrived. Did have a table but not in the restaurant part.
We went to the Bell Inn for saturday lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Great food & very good service - everyone was happy and had a great lunch - thank you.
Nice welcome Great service and good food including a Lovely and plentiful pudding. It was a bit noisy (we did notice there’s no noise deadening materials (carpets / curtains / plants) Nice open fire in ‘middle’ bar.
Lively atmosphere. Great food, attentive service. Return visit a definite
Food was decent, staff were welcoming. Though quite cramped. But saying that, like many others having lunch -we had a pushchair and childrens highchair. So, in no way the vendors fault. Would go back, but perhaps not on a busy Sunday afternoon. Worth a visit!
Excellent food, great ale. Good service. What more do you need.
Nice place, very good steak pie, I will visit again!!
Great place for a meal! Parking the car was a challenge, though 😄
Best Sunday roast around, will be back very soon, tomorrow
Had a great time! Good atmosphere and great Sunday lunch!
Enjoyable meal and great entertainment. Bright conservatory area and garden.
We had dinner here on Saturday night. The place was busy, but the service was friendly and attentive.
Small portions , not great value for money ,good service
Excellent food and service. I will write a review on Trip advisor
Waiting staff so none attentive and negative. We had to ask for every drink and course.
Excellent food and lovely atmosphere, plus prime location . Staff were very accommodating.
Good food and great service . We had steak pies and all delivered without fuss .
Good but not exceptional; potential if they made a little more effort w food and service.
The food was wonderful as ever but I'm afraid the service on this occasion was not. The barman/waiter was rude about my choice of starter, saying it wasn't very healthy! We waited 40 minutes for our main course. We are regular visitors to the Bell and I Have to say after Saturday we may well be trying the jolly Cooper round the corner.
Meat was average, however the roast potatoes and the vegetables were good.
Terrible food!! Good service. Menu was not good, too few choices.
Great atmosphere as always great food and great service highly recommended
Rubbish food and service. Used to be a nice pub but not well run anymore
Refused meerkat meals deal as advertised on the app. And we’re really rude about it and I was made to feel very uncomfortable so we left.
Very good service good food excellent location went there on a Sunday
Had a light lunch with my 2 sons, lovely window table overlooking the river at Hampton ferry. Nice food well presented and excellent service.
The Sunday lunch menu has changed in recent months and a chicken option is not available. However, the food is generally v. good - though cabbage needs destalking if it is going to be that tough!
Very pleasant business related lunch, we ate in the front part of the restaurant.
Lovely venue, drinks great, roast a bit dry, pudding selection limited, staff lovely
A nice Hampton pub by the river with tasty food and friendly staff.
Friendly staff who were very patient when two of our family group were nearly an hour late. A great meal in a very nice pub.
Went for Sunday lunch. Very friendly service and good atmosphere. Recommended.
Nice food and varied selection, pub quiz was good fun on the Sunday night, prices for food and beer was ok, Kids enjoyed it (teens). Good selection of beer
We enjoyed the burger, chips & coleslaw and the view from the window table. Great value with the taste card on a sunny Tuesday evening
Average food and service, pretty decent roast though. Not much atmosphere in the front area of the pub. Overall expensive for a two course Sunday roast.
Great main courses but service not the best. 1/3 children’s food came out with the adults’ food. The other 2 children’s meals took an age and needed to be asked for. These meals were refunded. Kids’ desserts pretty disappointing too.
Quick prompt service, food was satisfactory but not exceptional. The roasts were fine but the lamb tagine was full of chilli ,not what you expect in a Moroccan dish! The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Lovely food and exceptional service. Excellent! Would thoroughly recommend. I have no negatives to offer and a lovely location too. Absolutely wonderful food and great staff.
Busy evening so restaurant service was a little patchy. Staff were friendly and helpful even when rushed. Food was fine. Fun pub quiz, well executed. Brings in the punters.
Really nice evening. Waitress called Laura was brilliant and really helpful. Food was good. Wine good value. We didn't feel rushed or hassled. Will definitely come again
The pub offered a Fabulous welcome. The staff were really Friendly. The food was good value. The standard of food was Excellent. Many thanks. 👍
Food good. Service very very very slow even though pub was practically empty. Didn't ask if our food was OK and we had to get up twice to ask questions.
Got there to find they had no food left and were closing the kitchen, hadn’t thought to contact to let us know so we could make other plans. Quiz was ongoing too loud to speak over
Good food and a nice setting but the bar staff were seriously under pressure when we arrived early last Friday evening. This pub has a large car park and an outside terrace at the back. The front has nice views onto the river.
The pub is in lovely setting by the river. The food was enjoyable and the ambiance was relaxed. I regularly go back here as its one of the nicer pubs locally
The Bell was clean and friendly. It was very busy on Mothers day but the staff coped very well. The food was excellent if just a little too much for some of us. I had the roast beef lunch - it was delicious. The beef was perfect for my taste ; pink and quite tender. The Yorkshire pudding was excellent - not a easy thing to cook en masse! We'll come again.
Good Sunday lunch, nice table, and good service despite being very busy on Mother’s Day. Decent Yorkshire puddings, but Eaton mess could do with more fruit and meringue.
Good food, nice buzzy atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but I think that was becauase there was only 1 waiter in our section of the pub. He was great but he could of done with some help!
Very child friendly and accommodating our every need with great food as well. . . . We'd definitely go again, in fact we will go again.
