Lovely staff and dealt with the Corona situation well with good organisation.

Disappointed with the lack of COVID 19 measures in place, only one staff member was wearing gloves and a mask, this was the person collecting glasses. Our food and drinks were providing by someone who had no PPE and was freely handling glasses and cutlery. Also on arrival our table was occupied and when it was vacated no cleaning took place. Overall very disappointed with the approach compared to some of the neighboring pubs and won't be returning in the near future to what used to be a regular haunt.

Music from the pub being played in the restaurant was far too noisy. Would not go back on a Saturday evening.

First table we were sat at was right in the path of staff and other guest moving through, very busy & cramped. One of our party had her chair continually knocked into, but after a chat with the staff and a short wait we were moved to a side table which was great. It’s clearly a very popular place , with a great atmosphere

I bought my very nervous dog in and the staff her made her very welcome giving treats water, I was very impressed and will be back again! The food as always never fails to disappoint it was utterly delicious

Very quick service. Our roasts came out in 15 minutes. We were sat immediately and treated very well. The food was delicious.

Great service and food for the most part was good. The Camembert bowl starter was delicious and mains had included were the fish and chips which was hearty and delicious. Husband enjoyed the duck and my vegan in law was happy with selection. The cannelloni however was over baked and therefore dried out. So overall a good experience spoilt only by the cannelloni. Our waitress was lovely - a true asset.

I celebrated my birthday with 12 friends in one of the garden booth, great space! They offer table service or you can use the garden bar and not have to wait on a busy sunny Saturday afternoon!

Lovely as ever, we were well looked after for our Christmas lunch.

There was a huge office party going on which was unfortunate as it meant staff were a bit stretched and the noise levels were high.

The food was splendid, the service cordial and the prices fair. My party and I were disappointed by the volume of the music in the bar. It had the unfortunate effect of robbing the restaurant of the atmosphere that leads to an enjoyable dining experience. Perhaps better sound barriers might be a more conducive way to have lively bar experience and quiet dining experience.

That was an amazing experience. I went there to celebrate my little’s girl birthday and the staff was so nice to put a candle on the cake and sing her happy birthday. She was amazed ! And so was I. Definitely will come back for Christmas or New Year lunch

We had a lovely big table and comfy chairs where we and our pet dog could spread out and relax. The service was so prompt and efficient. The food was delicious!

We went on a Sunday evening at 7pm.it had been a hot weekend so the pub had obviously been busy. Unfortunately, the garden looked a mess with uncleared tables and rubbish on the floor. We ordered our food. It turned up. We ate it and left. There was no service as such. The roast dinners felt and looked like they'd been hanging around. It was the end of the day, but if they choose to serve till 8 we shouldn't be made to fill we are a nuisance which is what it felt like. Very disappointing as we have eaten here slot but won't be rushing back.
