Excellent meal and brilliant staff. Staff were very understanding when our party size reduced. Plenty of choice for all the family (our eldest guest was 80 and the youngest 1) big portion sizes as well.

The scran was outstanding. The staff were great and the young guy ( not seen him before so must be relatively new ) has some top notch people skills. I was there on a date which was her first time being in the ashmaan and she was extreamely impressed

The food is very good, huge selection on the menu which ofter worries me. I don't especially like menus that have a basic dish and you add the rest at a cost. The mains are a bit expensive and the bread and rice as well. I've been using this restaurant for many years now and the prices have been rising recently so I will have to think twice about returning.

Had a brilliant meal at the Ashmaan. Food and serve were both outstanding and would recommend anyone to give it a try. The tandoori mixed grill was fantastic.

Another trip this establishment... Overall it wasn't too bad....BUT.. They use a base sauce which is very ordinary and sweet with not any real flavour. If you order a meal with a curry sauce, and order a Jalfrezi the sauce is exactly the same but with chillies added for the Jalfrezi... I understand that makes life easy in the kitchen but leaves diners that have experience of traditional curries feeling very low on the taste buds! The Naan breads are superb..no wonder people call them elephant ears! But that makes the Naan bread a very expensive item for a less than average meal!

Excellent food from the mixed pakora starters to the excellent lamb dishes. The friendly staff were a credit to the restaurant, looking forward to going back.

Great hot food, convivial atmosphere, cheery service. Parking is a little tricky, if you don't know the area. Booking online was very convenient. Comfy seating in the booths.

Nicely decorated restaurant with very friendly, welcoming staff. Food was delicious but their hotness rating is different from most similar restaurants, ranging from 1 chilli to six. I chose a dish showing three chillies, but it wasn't at all hot, so I'll go for 4 or 5 chillies in future. We were told that it could be noisy at peak times. Recommended.

Still the best Indian around after 34 years - family owned, relaxed atmosphere and BYOB makes it an enjoyable and relatively cheap night. Highly recommended 👍

Excellent food, great value. Accommodated family of 9 and service was superb. Bring your own booze witn no corkage charge and no service charge automatically added. Will definitely be back.

Food is always excellent and so are the staff. Only one comment would be i feel the price of the accompaniments for the poppadoms is a bit expensive.

A busy restaurant. The food is good but not as authentic as many. The curry sauce is very much like a made gelatinous style of Bisto! Tandoori style are a better option.

lovely restaurant, excellent food and reasonably priced, plenty to choose from as it has a very large menu, no alcohol served but that was not an issue for us, will probably return again soon
