I always love going to the Abberville when in London visiting my son and daughter. Its always busy and so viibrant with people of all ages enjoying time out. Despite the numbers dinning the staff manage to stay calm and friendly. The food is amazing! I think its good value and a great place for lunch or dinner. The fact that the dog can join us is also a massive bonus.
Great food and atmosphere as always. Staff could have been more attentive
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Staff professional though busy. Expensive without taste card!
really great food and wine and a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for a quite relaxed yummy meal. I will be going again.
Great Sunday roast in Clapham Good atmosphere, ended up staying far longer than we should have!
Lovely Sunday roast, including a delicious and extensive pudding selection. Attentive service. Lots of people being turned away so it's definitely advisable to book in advance.
Love this place. Always great food, cosy atmosphere and best Yorkshire puddings!
Ordered a roast - pretty dry , some parts uncooked , hard potatoes . Gone down hill unfortunately !
Food was delivered really quickly but took a long time for people to take our order. Food was also really tasty although shame about having to pay an extra £1 for yorkshire pudding (except if you order beef)
Lovely food in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Would certainly recommend :)
Best menu, best food, best prosecco. Will be returning! :£
Yummy, friendly, great value, fun environment too. All in all fab
Great local pub and restaurant. Staff are nice and food is yummy. I am a regular here and spend far too much time here but I do love it.
Great venue with a fantastic Sunday roast menu. Highly recommend trying. Nice community atmosphere about it. Moderately priced bottles of wine.slightly pricey by the glass
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch, we had the Roast Chicken and the Nut Roast. Both delicious, there was a lot of meat in the Roast Chicken dish, would have liked a bigger portion of Nut Roast. Really friendly service, will definitely go back again.
Nice place, nice food, good wine. Nice service, can recommend
Lovely Sunday roast, good wine. Nice atmosphere, highly recommend this place!
Very good servoce - friendly staff and nice ambience. Nice. But did they make their own roast potatoes?? The tasted bought... ........ .. .. ...
Great food we had the delicious roast dinners Great staff very friendly and accommodating Nice atmosphere Nice loos decorated nicely Would def return again for
Lovely little place! Nice atmosphere, lovely food - especially the Sunday roasts - good wine and good service :)
Lovely gastro pub, traditional style, dog friendly and excellent food. I had the tastiest steak I've had for a long time. Will definitely be back.
It took 20 minutes to order drinks and another 20 when we wanted the bill, other than that service was fast. Food was average and tables unnecessarily close together. Ok for the price.
The roast was amazing, the beef was sliced very thin but good amount was served, with delicious gravy, roasted vegetables and a massive Yorkshire pudding. We will definitely come back.
We enjoyed a lovely meal the pub in a lovely buzzy environment. I'd say that the decor could do with updating as the wallpaper is pealing off in a number of places and it feels a bit beyond shabby chic, but that didn't distract from the lovely evening my friend and I enjoyed. We did have a bit of a quirky waiter which was amusing but again nothing to distract from our enjoyment of our evening.
We mostly visit the Avalon, so thought we'd give their sister property the Abbevillie go for a change. They have great daily specials here, but I sometimes struggle choosing something I like from the regular menu.
The abbeville was an average pub in Clapham. The food was average and nothing too special although can't complain. I wouldn't go back again but glad to have been to have satisfied my curiosity about his pub.
Reasonably busy for a Wednesday night and in general a good meal, but main courses took a while (and issues with the table next to us as well) and one of the waiters was a little bit absent minded. Still, a nice venue and food not unusually expensive compared to other London pubs. Good with 50% summer food discount!
