Lovely warm pub with a cosy fire and delicious food. They catered for meat eaters through to vegans and allowed our puppy to join us for dinner!

Great atmosphere, great waiters, great food! Will definitely go again. The only thing that could be improved would be the ribs which were quite fatty. The beef brisket croquettes were delicious.

A great meal as always. We have lived for 10 years locally and the Abbeville is the best pub to eat (and drink) in for miles around.

Staff very attentive. Food good although smallish number of dishes on menu. Pudding (crumble) not as hot as could have been. Overall a good night out though. Will go again.

Staff were friendly, food was nice and pub was cosy. It had a very bizarre layout though. Dog friendly too, they gave us a water bowl :)

It remains one of my favourite restaurants but service was pretty poor on this night - table not laid, having to to ask three times to order wine and then food, having to ask for cutlery and then salt, pepper and water.

A nice gastropub with a good range of dishes on the menu, and daily blackboard specials. The fish and chips was lovely - good fresh fish, and really delicious chips! I would like to return to try other things. Check it out!

Went for a roast dinner, excellent quality and presentation, the pork was fantastic. Good, prompt service on a busy afternoon. Could possibly have had a little more vegetables but all four of us still left super full.

Good food and great selection of specials. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The place itself is located in a lovely street with many bars so there are plenty of options to move on if you wanted.

Took family (2 adults and 3 kids of 15, 14, 11). Food is fantastic - Sunday roast for some and kids menu and burgers for others. Food was hot, quick to arrive and very delicious. Deserts are very tempting too. Service is great - they are attentive and helpful. We go every few months for a Sunday meal rather the cook and wash up at home and it never disappoints.

Nice atmosphere but disappointing food, with my medium rare steak being well done and with very little taste, one of my companions also with very little 'taste' to her Cajunchicken salad. Go for a drink - miss dinner.

Second time here, very good service, Excellent burger and well cooked. My wife had the sea bass which she said was also excellent. Summer fruit crumble very tasty, crumble could have done with a bit more butter in as was too loose but only my opinion. Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter very good.Would recommend & visit again when visiting Clapham.

Always a lovely time in this pub. The food is good and the service very friendly. It is a little dark out the back which is a shame on a nice summers day but that's our fault for choosing to spend it in a pub and not outside! Would definitely recommend eating here.

I love the Abbeville. I have been living in and around Clapham for 6 years now and this place still remains one of my favourite spots for a Sunday roast. The service is always perfect. The right level of attentiveness without feeling like are being pressured into rushing through your lunch sitting. I had the roast beef and it was to die for. My parents were with us today too and they are very picky when it comes to a roast. They both loved it too which is high praise indeed. See you next time Abbeville.

A little noisy and the food was alright, it wasn't as good as it used to be. I am not a vegetarian but had a vegetarian dish and it was fairly awful. There was, what tasted like, stilton or blue cheese in the pumpkin dish which make is taste so strong that it was hard to eat it.

This is the second time I've been to The Abbeville recently. My partner and I strolled in on spec and were loved the food, the service and the general ambiance. I then booked to go with my Mum. Again, a real treat. Mum said her fish and chips were fantastic - light batter, crisp chips and good quality fish. I went for steak the first time and pork the second. Both were very substantial portions, perfectly cooked and charmingly presented, with lots of well cooked veg. Yum!
