It was our first visit to Taz, and after looking at all the reviews expectations were high, and it certainly did not disappoint us. From the moment we walked in everything was amazing from the greeting to the service. The ambience and the food is absolutely incredible. We could not recommend the restaurant highly enough. The staff, manager, and owner Taz were all fantastic and took the dining experience to an another level that made Taz the restaurant for us stand out from the rest. Already planning a number of return visits with family and friends.

Been several times and food and service is always excellent.

Second visit to Taz. Having remembered portion sizes are large, we shared a starter platter for two between the four of us. Perfect amount! All good was superb. Particularly recommend the spicy prawns (starter); I had a lamb Shish and my wife a chicken Shish. Both were really tender and tasty. Fillet steak was also very tender; medium rare is quite rare in the middle but can easily have that cooked a bit more when you’re ready. Recommend the Hounds of Hanningfield Gin: a local gin which rivals some of the very best. I had this in a Dirty Martini as well as a regular gin and tonic. Clientele is quite diverse: a large 22nd birthday party through to families such as mine and older couples also. Lively and vibrant atmosphere. Great to see how busy this was for a Sunday evening. That speaks for itself!

Best restaurant around, amazing atmosphere, beautuful decor, friendly and helpful staff, no waiting around for long for food and drinks and this is every time i go here. The food is the best. Was raining when we arrived and staff came out with large umbrellas as we arrived and made sure we didn't get wet at all walking into the restaurant. Couldn't ask for a better service. This place is more than just a restaurant, its an experience that everyone should have. Well done to all the staff for such a great evening every time and amazing food.
