Taz Restaurant

Second visit to Taz. Having remembered portion sizes are large, we shared a starter platter for two between the four of us. Perfect amount! All good was superb. Particularly recommend the spicy prawns (starter); I had a lamb Shish and my wife a chicken Shish. Both were really tender and tasty. Fillet steak was also very tender; medium rare is quite rare in the middle but can easily have that cooked a bit more when you’re ready. Recommend the Hounds of Hanningfield Gin: a local gin which rivals some of the very best. I had this in a Dirty Martini as well as a regular gin and tonic. Clientele is quite diverse: a large 22nd birthday party through to families such as mine and older couples also. Lively and vibrant atmosphere. Great to see how busy this was for a Sunday evening. That speaks for itself!

Best restaurant around, amazing atmosphere, beautuful decor, friendly and helpful staff, no waiting around for long for food and drinks and this is every time i go here. The food is the best. Was raining when we arrived and staff came out with large umbrellas as we arrived and made sure we didn't get wet at all walking into the restaurant. Couldn't ask for a better service. This place is more than just a restaurant, its an experience that everyone should have. Well done to all the staff for such a great evening every time and amazing food.

The food was excellent my guests and I really enjoyed the meal. I gave atmosphere a slightly lower rating as the background music wasn’t really to my taste but otherwise everything was fine.

Great venue, great food, great service, Table could have been in better position as we booked well in advance and seemed to be tucked round the corner from the main area. But everything else was good so soon forgotten

I have to say I have been to Taz 4 or 5 times. I am booked to go again. If you are thinking of going book early so you’re not disappointed. I think this Restaurant is such a breath of fresh air for our area. Well done . See you all soon.

Great food, atmosphere and service, paper napkins a no no for the quality of this restaurant.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we loved every minute. From the moment we arrived we received a very warm welcome and we were so well looked after throughout our meal. The deco is sumptuous but the floor is very slippery ( high gloss) so tricky wearing heels. The food was fantastic everyone enjoyed their meals and the cocktails are something else. We are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend.

This was my second visit to Taz and, once again, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly, expert and attentive. The food is first class and the meat used is top quality. I’d recommend Taz for a special occasion or if you want top rate food and a great atmosphere.
