Nice pub, nice grub, friendly and attentive staff. We dined early so it was quiet at the start but very busy by the time we left. Popular! So book in advance.
Great food and service, the staff were all really helpful and friendly.
Not a great deal of choice of main courses, would be better with the addition of a specials mums.
Food was good quality and very tasty . Pricing is mid to upper but lovely ambiance and will certainly be returning
Enjoyed a very pleasant evening here, food and service very good. The recent refurbishment is fantastic and I really enjoyed my visit. The only small criticism would be the table was very sticky and hadn't been cleaned very well. Everything else was great!
Lovely food, reasonably priced, restaurant cold not very relaxing. Staff attentive
High standards of quality maintained which is all a customer can ask for !
Our second lunchtime visit. Great service, delicious food, would highly recommend.
A pleasant evening - we look forward to another visit in the near future
Really tasty Sunday lunch for three. Traditional, we had beef and chicken, but even vegetables were absolutely full of flavour, plenty of them and good variety.
Modern but authentic rural atmosphere with tasty, well presented food and friendly service made our lunch with family memorable. We will be happy to return in the future
Food was excellent as was the waitress, but service from the kitchen was a bit slow. We were a party of 7 and 5 main courses were delivered together then the last two took a further 5 minutes. Would we go back? Definitely but we would like to see the kitchen service sorted out.
This was our first visit to the new-look village pub. Everything was pretty good - the roast beef was delicious but the green vegetables seemed to have been forgotten for a few minutes so we had started eating our meals before they arrived? The sticky toffee pudding was very light and the brownie looked good too!
First visit to the Tap and Run, very pleasant place to eat, food was excellent and not over priced. Had cured sea trout starter which was lovely, as were the Tempura prawns that my wife had. The roast belly pork was wonderful, as were all the veg, cooked to perfection, everything was really very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed it all, only reason not given full marks on rating was that service was a little inattentive, waited around for quite a while to place food order, and no sign of waiting staff when it came to wanting the bill. Would recommend wholeheartedly thoug, worth a visit and we'll definitely go back.
The pub had, through no fault of their own, major problems with the kitchens. However the fish and chips they supplied were absolutely terrific. Cannot fault their dedication in the face of huge adversity. First class
Lovely restaurant, very good food and ambience. Staff were attentive and polite. Would throughly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'll be going back sooner rather than later.
Very slow service even with the place less than half full. Didn't have time for a dessert as I had a plane to catch later that day. Tell your staff to write down drinks orders because our 2nd drinks got forgotten.
Great service from the bar and kitchen staff good choice of beers wines and food We all enjoyed our food especially the pies Will definitely go back again
