Great food, excellent service and all at a very fair price

Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. Only one negative, and that was my daughter’s pizza didn’t arrive with our food and when it came out 10 minutes later it had obviously been forgotten/ rushed as the dough was raw and topping was just tomato purée! My daughter didn’t eat any of it! Such a shame as other than the children’s pizza the rest of the food was great and we will definitely go again.

Our first visit to Tap and Run on a friends 'recommendation and we weren't disappointed. Friday lunchtime and food was excellent and good value for money. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.

Not bad. Place was a little cold though. Potato and vegetable Portions were decent unlike the meat! One pitiful very thin slice of beef on a £15 main was very poor in my opinion. Not sure I’ll try here again.

Main meals came out at different times. I was told, only after the other two meals were brought out, that what I ordered wasn’t available. They said they could replace the salmon with Seabass and the rest would be the same. However, there were no mussels and only 4 pieces of gnocchi!!! I was still hungry!!! Very Disappointed. They took my meal of the bill - however, I was expecting much better from this chain....

Food was good. Still had atmosphere although not very busy.

I had the turkey, which was OK, but as it was rolled with stuffing I didn’t feel I got much actual turkey - and there were two further balls of stuffing which was a bit of a cheap filler. The roast potatoes and carrots were very nice but the parsnips really weren’t cooked and I had to cut away the hard centres. The veg, which I expected to be normal seasonal was in fact kale, which was almost raw and I didn’t like, mange tout, which were again virtually raw and one bean (probably a rogue which shouldn’t have been there) All in all rather disappointing. My friends had the haddock & chips which were very good.

Very busy and chaotic. Rushed the meal to us within 10 minutes of sitting down and therefore undercooked the fish and chips x 2. Looked a great place just not a good night to visit I guess

Lovely place to be - decor etc was really different and well cared for. Menu a little limiting for me but not the pub’s fault. Food a little greasy.

Atmosphere and food is always absolutely excellent, although could do with being a bit hotter at times. My main and pudding was only just on the right side of warm, not for the first time. Staff are very friendly and service was quick, sometimes too quick! One of our favourite pubs around though, and will be back very soon.

Unfortunately on the evening we were there we were next to a very noisy group who over shadowed our visit. The venue is very nice, the staff were lovely and the food was good.

First time visit, a very pleasant experience. Good menu (although no fish pie, my fave, but steak very nice with melted cheese), nice environment, good vibe, decent ale, fair prices, service quick & very curteous. Thoroughly recommended.

A very well cooked Sunday lunch at this country pub. Good service. The dessert menu had a very nice Mango tart. Quality coffee - we will go again.
