Meal was beautiful and staff fantastic thanks will call again
Great service and food was lovely. We Will definitely return
A well thought out menu delivered to a high standard, Could happily have chosen any of the dishes available
Good service and food was lovely. Will definitely come back.
The website to find the place was not good. The satnav took us to a village which we didn't recognise and followed the a606 till we found it
Great food and drink, car parking probably needs further improvement
Staff really friendly and efficient. Malbec wine worst Malbec ever. Sorry. Sack the sommelier! BTW just discovered they only charged me for one glass instead of whole bottle! Better tell next time.
The duck was tough and not edible. Told staff but little response
First time visitor .....and was very pleasantly surprised - great good and ambience Will be returning !
Great place to go, the food was brilliant and the service was great. recommend 100%
Excellent. Food was great. But the Customer service was A1. That was the real difference between the Tap & Run and other Sunday pub lunches.
Thanks guys....as we said ..significant difference to last time we ate with you! Changes that have been made were noticed 👍🏻We’ll be back soon
Great food and service, very thoughtful in terms of managing our dietary requirements, will definitely go again
Booked online but turned up to find the menu online was not what was on offer. Not sure why we didn’t get a phone call prior to the evening to explain this. Food was however very nice
Goof food, really nice staff, nice environment, will go again
Disappointed that the web site showed an early bird menu only to be told it was no longer on
Nice food, nice place, Good staff service. Been three times and enjoyed each time.
Lovely Atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Service was good. Food was lovely. Will happily visit again 🤗
Very small portions for the price. Left the pub still feeling hungry after two courses. Mashed potato was lumpy, mushroom Wellington was very small, burgers served with just a small portion of fries and chocolate brownie tiny. Staff friendly but not at all attentive, to say pub was vitality empty. All in all not an experience we want to repeat which is a shame as it was a birthday celebration. On the plus size it’s a lovely setting, the interior is of a very good standard and it’s a well thought layout. Hopefully it will improve as there is plenty of scope for it to be an excellent village pub.
First time eating here for a Sunday dinner and it was fantastic. Service and Food
Great food, fantastic service and a good atmosphere. Lovely evening.
Nice food, lovely decor, sat next to the door out onto the smoking patio (it would be better is smokers were routed out of the main door to the patio rather than wafting pas diners every five minutes), but generally a good experience. Service was a little slow, but we had heard it was before we went, so we expected it, but fairly easy to remedy you would think (sat there for ten mins at the start with no drink)!
Great refurb, nice atmosphere, service was variable, but lost importantly the food was served in a timely fashion
Lovely restaurant. Fabulous service. Fantastic atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Service was quite slow in between starter and main. We had a hold with us that was very hungry. They could've brought the kids meal out faster. Quality and portion size on the food was good.
we had set lunch menu, excellent value at £14 for 2 courses. Mains all good, I would have liked some salad with my burger.
Food, staff and surroundings all very nice. We’ll be back
Great tasting food. Lovely atmosphere. Good service. You need to ring in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
We enjoyed great food, excellent service and a lovely place.
A very pleasant and delicious Sunday lunch out. Very nice staff.
First visit Sunday Lunch we will be back to try the menu in the week!
Great food and atmosphere, with excellent service. Will definitely return!
I cannot do justice to the disastrous experience in 34 words but will provide a detailed explanation if required. To sum up, it was woeful
First time at Tap & Run, very pleased with the Sunday roast. Friendly staff will be coming back.
Roast dinner was excellent. We will most certainly be back!
Food was excelllent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful
Great food at a great price. Service was a little slow though!
Good to see the pub being well used. Liked the revamp but food choice limited and average. Waiting staff pleasant but did not know what the soup of the day was when asked and service very slow. Not worth the hype sadly.
Great food, lunch price and service. Lovely decor and location
Lovely meal. Excellent service. Great stuff. We will go again.
First impressions of the new interior design was really fabulous and the food was amazing ! The only negative I’d say was that our family of 5 were seated in the conservatory and it is far too hot in there on a sunny day. There needs to be some blinds erected as it is very uncomfortable and bright to sit in whilst dining. We had booked but the only other table(s) available were 3 separate tables in the bar that was pushed together. Whilst we were grateful of being given an alternative table it wasn’t ideal with our young G.children- and the sun still beat down on us through that window as well (seems a shame to moan about the lovely sunshine but it really can be unbearable under glass !) The conservatory is a wonderful element of the pub but the sooner they get the blinds put in the better it will be. A lovely refurb tho with the Cricket theme, polite and attentive staff and a fabulous chef that prepared great food 5*. Can’t wait to return X
Sat in conservatory which was either too hot , too cold or too noisy with windows and door open to try to control the temperature. Staff not particularly friendly and we had to ask for water and sauces rather than be offered , they also knew nothing about the beers they had. Sunday lunch was nice but not nice enough to warrant the £16 price , poor selection of desserts, 3 out of 5 ice cream based. Would not go again
Visited on a Saturday night. Service was friendly and efficient. Starters were substantial, the baked for two was more than enough and the spiced pepper soup was delicious, addlthough it’s that it is very spicy. The only minor criticism I would have is that the restaurant was really hot and perhaps the heating needs turning down a little. Otherwise it was an excellent evening and would recommend.
Thoroughily enjoyed our meal and time together in pleasant surroundings.
Excellent food, lovely pub, great atmosphere. Definitely return. Fantastic outside space too.
Lovely venue, limited choice of lunchtime menu but good food. Underfloor heating would be great in winter but was too warm today! Drinks expensive.
Very nice food, cooked to a high standard and will return for a second visit
The best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a long time - we’ll be back!
Great pub with fabulous food, steak was so tender I didn’t need a steak knife!
My experience at Tap and Run was not very nice, it was to warm inside and I couldn't eat all my dinner because of all that heat, and I wasn't the only one complaining about that . I will not go again to this place.
