Great food and service - bookings recommended as it gets quite busy! Suggest a cous cous between two and a tagine each! Don’t forget it is BYO!

Food was excellent. Very busy. Good vibes atmosphere. Very loud. Service good but not always great and lighting a touch too low but that said would go back though so not that bad!!

This authentic Moroccan neighbourhood is rightly very popular and obviously great for a party as we observed on our weekend visit. Birthdays celebrated with cake, candles music and live drum. Despite the crowd, food arrived in good time and was absolutely delicious. And as it's BYO you can choose exactly how much you want to spend on booze.

The food is amazing- I had the meat mezzo with merguez to start and lamb tagging with prunes and pears. Sides like cous cous are overpriced, and the service can feel a little rushed, but the atmosphere and food makes up for it.

Amazing experience. Gorgeous decor, wonderful menu and great value for money. The Bring your Own is an excellent way to enjoy a wonderful but cheaper night out. Food tasted amazing. We also enjoyed Shisha outside under heaters and it all came to £60 to two starters, 2 mains, Shisha and that included Service charge. Would happily go again and happily recommend. We checked out the Private area downstairs that can be booked out for parties, great space. They also have an amazing way to celebrate birthdays, including dimmed lights, sparklers and African drumming! GO!

Service was good but I was disappointed with the food although people who are not not North African might enjoy it. Taste isn't very authentic

Absolutely delicious food, great service, lovely setting and the opportunity to bring our own drinks meant that the cost was also extremely reasonable. Genuinely can't recommend Zizou Tagine enough.

First time eating at this restaurant took a party of 5. We all loved the lamb shank & the decor of the place is lovely. Would have been nice if there were more fans or AC as we were there on a very hot day. Other than that nothing to complain about.

I used to love this place but it is not good anymore. Everything tastes of lamb. This happened the last time we went too. I loathe the taste of lamb and red meat and it is very obvious that everything is cooked in the same sauces and pans. When I mentioned it they tried to tell me that it must be because I had had the rice which is apparently cooked in lamb gravy but I didn’t actually have any rice. They pretty much agreed that my chicken dish smelt of lamb but did not deduct anything from the bill, despite my not eating any of the £14 dish. They also put a 12.5% service charge over the whole lot. I will certainly not be going back or recommending.

My girlfriend and I went to this lovely restaurant and had a great time. However, she is vegetarian and there weren't that many choices for her. But on the whole, the service was friendly and efficient, the decor was terrific, and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend (please note, it's BYO only).

Vegetarian mezze was lovely. We all enjoyed our lamb tagines (there were 4 of us) which were potato and onion and the aubergine and chickpea one. The lamb was so tender and very tasty. It went especially well with the cous cous. The downstairs is very romantic and so ideal for a day night. Also great that we could bring in our own alcohol.

There was some meat in the vegetarian dish so suggests keeping meat preparation separate isn’t great so veggies beware. Others liked their food though. BYO no corkage was a bonus.

Incredible food – the best tagine I have ever had. Service was pretty slow, we felt ignored at points and had to keep raising our hands to get anyone over which was a bit awkward. Despite that I would definitely go back.

This restaurant is fantastic, a wonderful BYOB restaurant very close to Balham tube (and Sainsburys for if you need to buy booze!) The food was delicious and great portions and the staff were incredibly friendly - this is the best BYOB I have been to in London.

We just did not enjoy it - £8 pounds for a pot of tea is not nice - all in all not a bargain - with less style as some time ago- the lamb was over cooke - 12, 5% added service charge was a bit over the top. Another restaurant on the NO list....

Cosy, quirky and authentic spot right by the station. The staff are always really friendly and the mezze board at the state are the best in London. The shisha and byob make this much more than a dinner venue.

The service was good, there was a good atmosphere, some of the flavours were good but the chicken was very dry which was very unfortunate. We asked for the main course to be served with a gap after the starter. However, as soon as the starter was finished, the main was brought out shortly after.
