Delicious food. The starter portion sizes were rather small - especially the dips, but still very tasty. Highly recommend the aubergine and goats cheese if vegetarian! Fun atmosphere for groups. Great BYOB - no corkage!

We booked a table for 10 for my husbands birthday . The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and they gave us a choice of seats. They were very helpful and pleasant throughout the evening. The food was superb and the portions were substantial. They brought out the birthday cake with a firework in it and gave the birthday boy a Fez! It was a lovely evening and everyone enjoyed their food. Would highly recommend Tagine. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a special evening.

Restaurant decor was lovely, atmosphere was pleasant , food delicious. The waiter service was slow . We had to call / shout out for service

They allowed a group of twenty people to be in the same room as all diners. ruined our meal they were so loud. People were walking out as a result.manager said to me they insisted on being upstairs. Therefore he took the money option rather than the comfort of his patrons.The food is very expensive there so would have wanted a better experience. Finally, don't get me wrong I love an atmosphere but this was silly. I've noticed previous reviews have had the same issues. So in conclusion, go here if youre on a stag or hen do, avoid otherwise. Oh and the food was nice but not that good.

Good food and nice service. I recommend the mixed vegetable starters to share and the lamb tagine (and its different combinations). Generous portions and reasonable prices.

Starters were great but the main courses were really quite poor and tasteless. Went for a family gathering and it was pretty much money wasted.

Great food at a reasonable price. This place has become a regular favourite that we come to every month or so. The food has been consistently good and BYO is a plus.

Visited Tagine with my parents - they loved it. Had great food, atmosphere and service! Highly recommend the lamb shank tagine for two. Will definitely be coming back.

Food was excellent, got a bit noisy and tables very close together, expect to be bump into. Waitress did not understand questions asked re menu

Nice food but my partner ordered the 'Lamb for two' option and asked if she could have half the amount for one person as an option. The waiter said that it was possible. However unfortunately when the mains came out, two portions of the Lamb dish were brought over. The waiter then insisted he had explained it to my partner. We ended up being charged £34 for the one dish. It slightly marred the experience and we were encouraged to leave by the relentless clearing of items from our table at the end of the night whilst we were still enjoying our conversations.

The second time I eat there. The downstairs area is very cosy. The atmosphere was great. The food and the service were good. I recommand.

Really good food in a stylish Moroccan themed setting. The staff are very friendly and give good advice on the food. BYO wine or beer which makes it all even better!

Food very good and tasty, although one in our party said that some of her fish (in fish tagine) was not fully cooked. Fruit cocktails are lovely!

Lovely meal - interesting tagines and I had a goat's cheese salad which was really nice. The shared meze platter for starters was great to share.

We booked for a table of 9 and the decor was really cool and the food DELICIOUS. We ordered lots of food and shared it all and it was perfect. Will definitely come back, and BYOB is great!

Excellent service and lovely food. The only small negative thing would be the tables at the window which are a bit of a squeeze. Not a problem for us because we were seated first but the people at the table next to us had to slide into their seats.

Tagine is great -Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. BYO makes it excellent value too. We all had a great time and have booked to go back in couple of days!!

Overpriced for what it is. Veg mezza starterror dips were good to share but pitta bread was dry. Fresh juices are really nice. Friendly staff

The food was lovely. However the service was pretty slow and our food arrived at different times. It was a nice place to catch up with friends but I don't think I'd go back on a busier night

Tagine is always a pleasure, the best hummus I've had and the tagines are so tasty. Atmosphere great and the best place to go for a birthday. Definitely recommend!

Good, authentic food in a great atmosphere with beautiful decor. Friendly staff. And you are never hurried to release the table and leave the place.

The food here was fantastic - really tasty and interesting flavours. Staff were good without being intrusive and their fruit cocktails were super refreshing on a very hot day!

Great restaurant, great food, great people. If you want to try the best Algerian/Moroccan dishes in London, it's definitely the place to go. Feels like home

Lovely atmosphere, great, friendly service. Enjoyed the food very much, though it was a little more bland/less spicy than two out of the three of us expected. We didn't realize that you need need to bring your own wine - if it was on their website, I didn't see it. We'll know for next time!

The food here was great, so was the service, nice atmosphere.very good decor and comfortable seating. We went during the week as l know it can get busy at the weekend. so its best to reserve a table.

What a lovely place - the decor and food was just divine! Did find the waitresses a teeny bit over enthusiastic (had 4 different girls come over in the space of 5 mins after sitting down to ask if we were ready to order) - was just catching up with my friend after I arrived and hadn't even looked at the menu so just a bit of time to settle in and read the menu would be good! But everything else was amazing! And love that you can BYOB, saves a bit on the bill! Definitely coming back!

Delicious food! A hidden gem!! Smoothest houmous and tender lamb tagine. I had the mamousnia or something... It was amazing!! The pineapple ginger mocktail was so refreshing, and the staff are very relaxed. Came for my birthday, with a party of 13, BYOB saved us so much money! Did not have time for desert as the service drinks and food was quite slow, I work in hospitality, and they didnt seem to have a "steps of service" system implemented. They also seemed understaffed (only spotted 2 wait staff while I was there) our waitress was lovely though. Nevertheless, I highly recommend and would definitely come back for their delicious foood!

Loved it! Warm atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated. Excellent food (ask about spiciness though!) for a reasonable price, lovely staff. Bring your wine and enjoy something different in Balham!
