Disappointed as I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the food was very tasteless and the place felt a bit like a school dinner hall. Staff were all really pleasant though.

We’ve visited Swaran a few times and IMHO it really is one of the best Indian restaurants in the central belt. Our most recent visit was with a larger family group where we all tried different dishes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed trying all the different dishes. Consistently brilliant food served by friendly and helpful staff. Thanks again for a great night. 👌

Restaurant was great food was great service was great will def be back

slight delay waiting on 1st drinks order, and one wasn't available which delayed an individual drink longer. Taking drink orders, service should be aware of what is and is not available. Other than that, this is our new favourite Indian eatery, much respect to you guys.

Swaran never fails to impress, the staff are all so friendly, food is outstanding, it is so clean as well Tables cleared & cleaned instantly when they become vacant, drinks are very reasonably priced & their desserts from their Tartan Sprinkles shop adjoining Swaran are to die for Our 5th time here, we will be regular customers

Food was outstanding again, the portions are pretty big as well The staff are an asset to the restaurant I noticed lots of tables had younger children with them, the kids menu is really good & very reasonably priced, the portions & food for them looked amazing I look forward to my next visit to Swaran, which will be soon

Food is outstanding and staff are so friendly, nothing is to much trouble for them They will go into detail about dishes if you are not sure what is in them The restaurant is continually cleaning tables and setting up for the next customers You have to try this place and I’m sure you will want to come back again and again

This is a local restaurant but with city standards and excellent food. The staff were amazing, checking everything was good, and we never once had to try and get attention for more drinks, the staff were on point. The food was honestly the best i have tasted, everything was so fresh and light. The owner walked around chatting to everyone, making sure they were happy and sat down with us to talk about the food and about how he started, which i thought was lovely and a very personal touch. We even received complimentary drinks which is the 1st time in our dining experience in any Bishopbriggs restaurants that this has happened. We will definitely be back and it will be first on our list from now on. I 100% recommend.
