Steak & Company - Piccadilly Circus

First time we had visited a Steak & Co restaurant but had visited other restaurant serving steak on a stone previously. The steak was wonderful and I would definitely go again.

Best steak ever, Service was great, just a little bit too noisy for us.

Our pre-theatre dinner at Steak & Co Haymarket was just the ticket. Although we arrived to eat at 4.30pm, we had a lovely steak dinner and the staff were attentive and friendly. The cost of the meal for this good central London restaurant was of course predictably high. We would recommend the restaurant to friends and family. N Reindl

Amazing food especially the steak. Service was excellent. A bit pricey but worth it.

Good first visit. Steak's were good & enjoyed the concept. Perhaps there could be more choice in the sizes of the steaks. e.g. 12, 14, 16 oz's, for just one person. We dined at 5.15 pm, ordered our desserts at 6.15 pm and we were told that options were not available; Rocky road & Bread & Butter pudding. That was disappointing for that time, on a Wednesday evening, especially as they were our two favorites!

Preparing your own steak at the table is a great experience!

Very pleasant but not the most responsive service, good food, nice atmosphere . Too long a wait at some points for service, even the bill took ages and had to ask three times. Paid cash because I couldn't be bothered to wait for the card machine any longer....

Have never had a bad experience at any of the Steak & Co London Restaurants. Last evening was top notch from the greeting at the door to leaving an hour and a half later. Food, service and the ambience were all excellent. Loved it.

The food was of a decent pub standard but at a higher cost. If your looking and wanting a premium steak restaurant this is not for you. The staff were attentive despite it being busy although a bit more knowledge on what was available should be worked on

Disappointed we were not offered the lunch menu as well as the main menu, seeing it was still on offer until 5p.m.

Visited here after a matinee theatre visit. Booked a table that afternoon, very straightforward. Fabulous meal 2 of us had steak and 1 had ribs, we were all very pleased. Fabulous meat, steaks cooked on hot stones at our table. Would visit again, very friendly helpful staff

The food was really good- we had steak that you finished at the table on a hot stone and the quality of the steak was fantastic- however we got to the restaurant at 5.50 and didn’t get our food until 6.40 which wouldn’t have been a problem but we were seeing a show that started at 7.30 so felt a bit rushed- but we were lucky there were several tables that were going to the same show who still hadn’t been served and were getting annoyed so advise to book much earlier than you think you need!

The food was as good as the waiting times were bad. Quite clearly the kitchen cannot cope. I booked a table to 6.15 p.m. and this was acknowledged. We arrived a few minutes early. We placed our order and waited. And waited. After a time we told our waiter that we were going to the nearby theatre for 7.30 p.m. At 7.55 p.m. I said forget the starter, just bring the main course. A couple of minutes later they brought the starters and I accepted them: I shouldn't have done so. I hadn't finished mine when they brought the main course and had it stacked up on the table alongside my starter! I didn't have time to eat it all by 7.25 p.m. when we had to leave for the theatre. During the interval, another couple approached me saying they, also, had been in the same restaurant and had experienced the same problem. My wife told me that, in the restaurant, she overheard another couple get a discount from their bill because of the delay with their food.

I normally don't go to a restaurant that hasn't been reviewed. However, I was looking for somewhere to eat close to Piccadilly Tube Station and found Steak & Co. They had a table at the time required, so I booked. We were very happy with everything and I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who loves meat!

Had an amazing meal. Next time we are in London, we will be back to try something else on the menu!
