Steak & Company - Piccadilly Circus

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant. My husband and I love steak, so we wanted to find a place to go before seeing a West End show. Giovanni was absolutely incredible. When our hot stone started cooling off, he brought us a new one with all new sauces so we could continue to enjoy our steak. The truffle mash was also delicious. Highly recommend!

The place was quiet when we arrived, might be why they’ve closed the seating upstairs.The hot stone steak experience was nice, we got to cook the steak to the way we like and we enjoyed the food. Service was okay, staff were helpful when asked. Will visit again!

They were out of my first two choices but my third choice the Austrailan Sirloin was quite good and they were happy to cook it "rare" which simply doesn't happen in the UK. A very good pre-theatre mea1.

Very disappointed. Waiting staff didn't have time to serve properly. Very irritated to receive a small glass of wine when I had ordered a large and this fact was only apparently when I refused to accept it. The wine I ordered cost £13.45 for a South African Verdhio - it was very very poor quality, didn't even task like a Verdhio. I complained and the wine was swapped out for a Sauvignon Blanc. If I pay £13.45 for a glass of wine I expect an exceptional wine. Then I got charged £10 for the privilege of a very poor experience - won't be visiting the restaurant again, this was my first time and it will be my last.

Had the pre-theatre menu - quick service and nice steak

Were pleased without sitting an initial greet. We ordered from the pre fixe theatre menu. My wife has an aversion to smoky foods and asked waiter about it, he assisted her it was not smoky tasting. It actually was so smoky we just switched meals. The rest of the food was very tasty. Was my daughter’s birthday so when they brought dessert she was presented first with a dessert with a sparkler. Nice touch. They then later brought our other two desserts a bit later and we found out that the birthday dessert was actually my wife’s, and so she ended up with nothing for her. We are not complainers so we let it go. When we paid the check we found they did not take Amex which will cause us foreign transactions fees as Americans. Multiple disappointments equals a negative feeling overall. We would not return.

The steak was amazing - the best I have ever had. Our waiter was excellent - we told him we didn't have much time and he made sure we were served quickly. can't recommend highly enough.

L'eccellenza del locale è la carne, te la portano semicotta su un piatto ed ognuno poi ne mette un taglio sulla pietra ollaria bollente, ma prima va messo burro e sale... Nel piatto non c'è contorno che va ordinato a parte. Prezzo medio per persona con birra e senza dolce circa 30 sterline.

The restaurant is too small for the number of covers, the extract system cannot handle the number of people cooking on the stones at the tables. We came out smelling of the food and will need to have our clothing dry cleaned. Never had this on previous visits to other Steak and Co outlets.

Service and food were great. The Chicken Pie didn't have any Chicken in it but it wasn't any less tasty for it! We asked for extra gravy with the main and extra custard with the pudding as we're a bit saucy but both were brought without questions and quickly

Great service, food is good. Husbands steak was much better quality than mine but we did pay more for his. My steak and fries were a bit overdone. The glasgow Cote was better for its meat and Haymarket had better sauce. Waiter was friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable.

the waiter was very friendly, restaurant was nice and quite food was lovely and arrived quickly

Starter was fine, main was given the wrong order when we highlighted they just took the wrong items off of other people’s orders. The time taken to get our order right the stone was not cooking the steak and just warm waitress said I will get another stone. 5 minutes later no stone, and all other food was cold. Complained and a new order was brought to us which made it all a bit of a rush to get the show that was booked. It was extremely busy but how hard is it to get orders right? All in all not a good experience and we will not be booking again.
