Friendly servers. No wait for table as we'd booked in advance and not too long of a wait for our food to arrive once ordered. Nice atmosphere.

Food wasn’t very warm was hoping the gravy was going to warm it up but it didn’t. Disappointed as hadn’t eaten out for over a year.

not cancelled due to inclement weather so rain half way through the meal. It took quite a while to get food served. No patio heaters but heat if in the bubbles? Food was lovely even if we ate fast to avoid soaking.

Excellent experience. We had a pod and it was very cosy, warm and Covid safe. The staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them.

First time l visited The Stamford Arms & l thought it was a lovely pub. Staff were kind & couteous. Due to Covid restrictions, we were seated outdoors. It was a busy time but the staff were very efficient. Didn't have to wait too long for our drinks & when our food arrived, it was nice & hot. Good portion size on the plate & the desserts were delicious! Would recommend this pub & would definately come back again.

Considering it rained during our meal the staff couldn’t have done anything more ie heaters, extra blankets, etc all the time getting wet themselves. Well done The Stamford

I cannot fault the ambiance and service We had a lovely heated pod outside Food was nice we had steak /fish and chips and a Chicken grill. We did also order Tapas I did feel these were over priced for what you got! Only down side to dining out is spiders and ants unfortunately there were plenty around the pod.

Was very good had a little problem which was quickly sorted so happy after that the staff was very helpful and attentive felt very comfortable

The food and staff are lovely but we were put on a table under a tree we’re the leaves we’re going on the food there was plenty of places to sit so I don’t understand as it was freezing the lovely lady offered us blankets but it was still cold and the tapas is yummy but the price is expensive

Usually we have a great time but sadly not this time, I hope it’s just a one off. We were outside so u take a risk I know with the weather. We were put in the shade next to the entrance of play park , it was chilly and we moved to the other end of table to escape breeze. But then told we had to move back and no one else turned up for an hour . We would have still be SD if we had sat at top end when they turned up. I set up a tab and was asked for a card , no problem I thought but it wasn’t returned until we left , instead I was just given a plastic tag . I had to ask what this meant and it was explained then it was in a safe , maybe if this was explained clearer at the beginning I would have paid as I went along as didn’t feel safe to me. Food was alittle disappointing , Sunday dinner no mash just 2 roasties on the plate . Had to wait along time for the bill .Shame because I do usually enjoy it here . Will it leave it a while before I return .
