The food at Sokrates is absolutely delicious, we were blown away. The service is also fantastic, the staff were all extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Excellent meal and experience all round.

Great food - best moussaka we have ever had, Good value and we like the atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our meal so much we booked a table for the following evening as we left. Will definitely return the next time we visit Horwich. Highly recommended.

This was my first time at Sokrates tonight and I wasn't disappointed. Every mouthful was a taste sensation and I didn't want it to end, especially the aubergine. The waiter even persuaded me to try calamari for the first time and I'm so glad I did. The atmosphere, decor and music was great, the staff were really nice and explained all the dishes that they brought out. I particularly liked the stories behind some of the dishes told by the waiter. It was amazing value and I highly recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely be going back. 5*

Took another couple who haven't been before normally when you recommend somewhere it's disappointing but not this time! We've been a few times and the food is fresh and hot our friends were impressed and the service is always brilliant. Thank you

My friend and I had the Greek Meze and all the dishes tasted great. The lady who was waiting on was really good and explained what all the dishes were as she brought them to our table. The dishes were brought out in stages and we didn't feel rushed. It was a lovely relaxed evening with wonderful food 😊

Chose to have the meze but we didn’t get any stifado or meatballs. Waited but nobody came to the table and by the time they did we were ready for home. Also my husband was without a drink for a long time and again nobody came so we cut the night short, went without dessert and went home. Restaurant was busy but we were a bit disappointed as we love the food here.
