Great atmosphere, great food, excellent T-bone steak cooked to perfection. It was my birthday and the staff were excellent, freindly and made every effort to make this visit feel special. I would definitely recommend Shorties.

Portions too big. Food lovely only a lot of it is bought in, frozen. For the money it should be made in House. Overall though, nice. Wonderful staff.

The food is mediocre compared to other local steak houses. The sauces we had with our steaks were disappointing-bland and tasted like it was a warmed up sachet of sauce from a supermarket. The starter, calamari was quite frankly terrible. The T-bone steaks we had saved the day. They were tasty and cooked to order. The waitresses are very friendly and efficient but we won’t be rushing back for a meal.

Brilliant little restaurant, great service, great food. Just draught cola lets it down. Sorry but it’s disgusting .still love the place though.

Staff was great and very welcoming. Food was great quality and well priced Service was good and never felt rushed.

Quiet to start with then a larger table of people arrived and seemed like they were priority. Wanted another drink with My meal but no one come over the whole time we ate our food until right at end when it’s to late.. I was unable to get the attention from the staff as they were with the larger group!

We've been to Shorties several times, hence our visit last Sat night. We were promptly, & politely greeted & seated. Swift service for starters & mains & staff very helpful. Food was hot & lovely. Then it came to desserts - we had looked online prior to our visit & chosen our choices but discovered that out of 19 desserts on line there were only 11 available & not what we wanted. Ok - we made a choice & our desserts were ok - but disappointment had settled in for not having what we had thought & wished for from online was the full choice. Then we waited & waited & waited for almost half an hour before we could catch anyone's attention to ask for the bill - so much so that there were at least 2 parties who had arrived after us but had eaten, finished, paid & left before we got our bill. So sorry for having to say this but we have loved our experiences here up until this last time & feel that that visit will be our last.

A great experience, family of 12 celebrating a birthday. Waitresses really friendly and efficient. Food piping hot, large portions and all came out together. Free cocktail for the birthday boy which was unexpected. All round great experience. Fantastic that after 10 years since my last visit it is still a great place.
