Excellent meal and wine to complement the food. Only fault is poor lighting which made reading the menu difficult and limited range of coffees. Otherwise first class.
Great food. Lovely service. Lovely atmosphere. Always a hit with locals. Great decor too. This is a winner. Been many times and always had a great time
Amazing steak, great service- delicious wine: always a good experience. Love the Rosemary choc pot! Quite pricey but for a special treat totally worth it.
Jolly nice restaurant - I had the lamb, which was perfectly cooked and the minty dressing on the spuds was delicious. Others had steak, which was not bad at all.
This place is a real little gem away from your typical tourist destinations. Fabulous food, great service and great value! Been several times and never disappointed. Highly recommend the Ox cheek.
This is an interesting and eclectic if narrow menu even for a small establishment. Service was pleasant and helpful but the only fish was cod in sea food sauce, my partner didn't want the sauce and the chef showed zero imagination in adapting, which was poor indeed - she was disappointed, and the greens were tough. I chose the veg option which was well prepared but really a dish of different ways of preparing celeriac is a bit odd and without the excellent chips would have been boring. Our friends were well pleased with their ox cheaks. Very narrow choice of deserts. Nice to have Camden beers. We've been here several times before and had better choices, although always well cooked.
Fantastic food, steak cooked perfectly and great wine selection. Service was friendly and welcoming but ever so slightly slow- understandable though as it was very busy. Can't wait to go back again
We visited on cheap steak Tuesday, and enjoying a rare rump and a rare flat iron with crinkle chips and buttered spinach. All were cooked with care, quality ingredients well handled. We finished with rhubarb and custard donuts, which I recommend everyone does.
By far the best steak I've ever had! The staff is extremely friendly and vibes of the restaurant are very cute and low-key. Every time I go I enjoy it better than the last. They also have a pretty solid Sunday Roast!
Yummy seasonal food and cosy atmosphere. Early bird menu is great value. Best chips I've had in ages! Want to go back to try the rosemary chocolate mousse!
Delicious food as always. The staff were incredibly friendly and always on hand to help. Love the smoked salmon starter and the doughnuts are best in town!!
The food is outstanding. The menu is varied and cleverly formulated. However, there are a number of places where this is the case. What sets the Season Kitchen apart is the fact that all of the staff really believe in providing an outstanding experience to the diner. Sometimes this will mean an individual going the extra mile - for us this meant serving us a sample of the Earl Grey ice cream that we had expressed an interest in, but was part of a dessert we didn't end up ordering, and then explaining to us how we might make it ourselves when we exclaimed in delight over how lovely it was. There are also however numerous touches that add to the experience but have clearly been thought out in advance - the bread served as an appetiser is beautiful and clearly homemade, and when we enquired about the ingredients they already had beautiful little recipe card made in advance that they gave us to take away. This place melds great food with wonderful service, and it comes together to result in a fantastic experience. Needless to say, we would recommend.
Extremely warm and welcoming service Excellent choices on menu - interesting dishes and good for vegetarians Only quibble - rather long wait for main courses to arrive
Awesome food, lovely service, really well priced wine. A must if you're in the area and hungry. I really enjoyed the experience and the ambiance. Good for a date!
Possibly unfair for me to rate them because I have only been for Sunday lunch, but that is very good. Small and unassuming, but the staff are very pleasant and the food hits the spot. The Sunday roast is as good as anything I have had in much more expensive places.
Great food, great atmosphere and brilliant service. Our waiter overheard me wishing my husband a happy birthday and put a birthday candle in his desert. Will definitely be going back!
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great. It was very quiet when we went abut that still didn't stop us from feeling relaxed. On Sundays the kitchen stops serving at 8pm but the staff were happy for us to stay and finish our drinks until we'd finished. We didn't feel rushed at all. A lovely local place!
Very nice food, and nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the focus on good locally sourced food is appreciated. It is not too pricey for the quality of the meals.
Bloody lovely! I wanted to leave a two word review, but the site doesn't let me. It's 'bloody lovely'. Is that enough yet? Apparently not......
Simple, delicious food. Good unobtrusive service. The only criticism was that my steak was on the cold side , but im sure if I told the waiter it would've be whisked away and returned hot in record timing. A
The booking process was easy (although they hadn't picked up on the comments that I left about it being a birthday celebration). The food was lovely (as usual) and the service was superb.
Food was really good, good atmosphere- the decor reminded us of a living room and waiters were tentative. Have booked for Burns Night dinner too, which I'm sure would be just as good.
starters were good, main disappointing - mussels bit overcooked and I can still taste sea salt from the choloclate pot dessert which I think is probably a bad thing
I particularly like coming to this restaurant. The service is good and the food is invariably excellent - I particularly like Cheapsteak Tuesday and if they have roast beef on a Sunday, that's always good too.
lovely local place on Strout Green with delicious food served in generous portion, good affordable wine and very nice waiter! will definitel go back try other dishes!
Once again Season Kitchen has come up with the goods.. great service.. great atmosphere.. and excellent food. I will be back again, no doubt very soon.
Food was universally excellent and extremely reasonable. Table was somewhat draughty but it was a terribly cold evening. An excellent restaurant, a true gem of a place.
We are becoming somewhat regular here. That's because it is always very, very good. Cheapsteak Tuesdays are a great midweek treat and the house wine very reasonable. Cosy and buzzing and the people running it love what they do.
We booked last minute during the pre- christmas rush, but there was no rush when we arrived for our table, the food was excellent, the service impeccable and we much enjoyed our visit.
Seasons is just great - the perfect neighbourhood restaurant if you're lucky enough to live close by, and well worth making the effort to get to if you're further afield. The food is amazing, the service professional but friendly, and after more than a dozen visits over the last couple of years I've yet to find anything negative to say about the place. It's lovely. Just go.
The meal could not be faulted - and service perfect too. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We had octopus, venison and cheese and everything was just lovely.
Just the small and intimate restaurant we were looking for. Dinner for two on a Friday. Delicious selection of food and wine. Ordered the Mussels and a range of small plates/vegetable dishes to sample a larger range of the menu which was a great decision. Particular favourites were the Burrata and Fig dish and the fluffy light crispiness of the deep fried squid. Well chosen wine selection covering all budgets including some "weird" options which might try next time. Fair price. Good service. Convenient location for us (short walk from Finsbury Park on the mighty Victoria Line) Will be back!
The basics are excellent - but the veggie option was slightly disappointing - sides were fantastic though - my advice would be to order sides sides sides and feast!
Food is always great , fish, meat or veggies Strawberry spghettit went down a treat, , staff are always lovely, never lets us down! The desserts are amazazing ! Going back soon
Very good service and not fussy. Food was amazing, great to see somewhere serve simple but delicious food, rather than complicate plates. Will be back very soon!
Amazing meal (beautiful steak at very reasonable price) in a restaurant with a warm, friendly ambience. Couldn't recommend it higher. Everything was pretty much perfect.
The food was absolutely excellent reflecting the fact that a limited menu tends to be well thought out and well cooked. The friend I went with and I, are both going to spread the word. Excellent food; excellent service.
We all had delicious small dishes and wonderfully flavoured and unusual vegetables. Delicious rose and a fabulous chocolate and rosemary pudding. The service is always quick and charming. We always come here for a pre theatre dinner
