As always, lovely staff and exquisitely executed deliciously simple plates of considered classics with a North London eclectic twist. Will keep coming back time and time again.
Special roast dinner lunch with the parents in this cosy local restaurant. The homemade bread that arrived with our drinks is out of this world yummy.
Food is terrific, no question about it. The service though needs a little bit of attention. Didn't get the sense the waiting staff were especially attentive and when we had to get up to go to the counter to ask about our missing side dishes, we felt a little neglected. Should. Be an easy thing to fix with one or two slightly more experienced staff to cover the tables. Will definitely go again for the food though!
This is a small space and two tables were occupied when we arrived and three people were serving, When we left less than an hour later there were five tables. It took nearly 15 minutes to get the bill as no one seemed able to operate the till and when it came we were overcharged by 30% on what we ate which was two mains and a side. It made me realise that service really impacts on my enjoyment when I go out and while the service here was sweet it also was a bit shambolic which was a shame.
Excellent in all respects - cuisine of a high standard, dishes original and well prepared with a small but representative menu. The wine list is comprehensive and sensibly priced. The service is impeccable.
Quaint atmosphere, wonderful food and very friendly staff. This is a gem that I would definitely return to again. I was very impressed. Absolutely recommend!
The second time we've been to this restaurant was just as good as the first. Unpretentious, honest and imaginative. Highly recommended. John and Julie Allan
The food was delicious and the service was fantastic - everyone who works there is very friendly. It's quite a small restaurant but great atmosphere!
We had a great experience at Season with the residency of Philip Juma. The food was excellent and the service was great. The atmosphere was lovely. Really happy we managed to catch Juma in his weeks residency.
The Food is not pretentious and it is delicious!. The service is fantastic, always attentive. Other restaurants should learn with them. A precious gem around the corner.
Great food and ambience. Good service I was allowed to take my time and really enjoyed the whole experience Pricing was reasonable for the food .
Wonderfully freshly cooked and presented food. Lovely staff and great find in London. Thank you to all involved. Steak was cooked to perfection. One requested as rare and was, other requested as medium, and it was. Perfect.
Very good, friendly staff good service and lovely food Restaurant is a bit crammed, Tables rather close together. Overall, great venue for a local restaurant, keep it up. Thank you.
Season Kitchen is a great local restaurant with a warm, friendly atmosphere, fab wine list and short but interesting menu. I found a couple of the dishes under-seasoned but that is personal taste and they were happy to put salt on the table. The ethos of small, local and seasonal is apparent in the menu, dishes are well priced and we pretty much had the entire menu of starters, mains and sides between four of us. The stand-out dishes were the burrata with figs and pistachios, the confit duck and the rhubarb and custard doughnuts.
This is a brilliant local restaurant that serves good food at decent prices, I suspect it is family run, their starter bread is noteworthy and on each occasion we have visited it has been a real highlight. Unfortunately it was a tad stale when we visited yesterday but that is to be expected given that it was a Thursday.
Brilliant dinner and great service. Congrats to the Chef and team. excellent Seasonal food and good choice of wine. chocolate rosemary pot what can you say !
Lovely food, friendly staff and a perfect evening, will definitely go again. The restaurant is five minutes walk from Finsbury Park and ix easy to find with some of the menu written on the pavement!
Great restaurant. Love the food and to be offered our red wine - a very nice bottle of brouilly - chilled was delightful. We always visit for pre- theatre supper when visiting Park Thetare, 5 minutes away.
We visited Seasons Kitchen for the first time on Friday, we really loved the place, we had a nice table by the window. The ambience was very good, the service was at the right level, the staff friendly and efficient. The food was first class, Baby squid was very tasty, the lamb was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented, we had the house wine which was very nice, we would definitely recommend Seasons Kitchen and hope to visit again in the near future.
Very good local steakhouse It had a fairly limited menu but the steaks were very good and there were some interesting sides and starters to accompany them. We didn't try out the puds so couldn't comment on them but they looked like they would be as nice. All in all we were happy with Season
Delicious food and great value wine with good service. Duckling leg was succulent and tasty. Various meat mains were cooked to perfection from 'bleu' to medium. Perfect veg.
I love this restaurant - the food is invariably good and it's a nice relaxed place to eat. The venue is small but perfectly formed! Service is good.
Why haven't I been here before? Simply delicious honest food cooked to perfection with love. Excellent service, perfectly prepared seasonal food, quirky and interesting wine list - at excellent prices. What a treat, must return soon!
Wonderful, inventive and freshly cooked seasonal food. Wonderful, patient service. Wine a bit too pricey. Looking forward to the opening of their new cafe/restaurant in the new year
Always reliable great food with lovely service. It has loads of compitition with all the other restaurants on Stroud Green. It is always busy which says it all!
I live season. Best steak in London, delicious sides, friendly service, and you have to try the chic pots too! The wine selection us also excellent and very reasonably priced.
Not so busy in a Wednesday evening than over the weekend. Nice place to enjoy an evening with f r i e n d s.
We particularly appreciated the quality of the ingredients, the accuracy and simplicity of the cooking, the cotes du rhone by the glass and the pleasant service. Not cheap and tables pretty close but we'll come back.
Brilliantly executed and presented food, cosy interior and lovely well informed staff. What every neighbourhood needs- not got pretensions, just inspired, seasonal cooking with great quality ingredients.
Season provides a great ambience for a romantic local dining experience. The food is a type of English fusion with some heavier and some lighter choices to suit anyone.
Wonderful meal - we had baby Squid and asparagus as starters, we both had the flat iron steaks with crinkle cut chips, hisp cabbage and chicory with blood orange and honeycomb. Shared a cheese board to finish. Only criticism would be it didn't seem to be blood orange, but that didn't detract from the meal. Definitely go again. Small menu but spoilt for choice - could've picked any of the starters or mains. Very small restaurant and tables for 2 very close together - couple next to us seemed to be arguing for most of the meal.
Limited menu but very good food and house wine. My wife has visited with her friends on several previous occasions and she said it's always full, although on this occasion it was very quiet for a Saturday evening.
I loved this restaurant - it's the first time I've enjoyed healthy, fast food. It used to be a great option for pre-theatre meals but now that they've cut the early dinner specials menu it's a bit overpriced to visit regularly. A real shame.
I think this is my favourite restaurant in London. For the reason I chose it fur my family birthday meal. LIt's got everything - top quality and interesting food at decent prices, excellent service and lovely ambience. In one word. Fabulous!
Great food, very interesting menu, with lots of dishes we wanted to try. Friendly, fun, efficient service. Good quality house wine. We will certainly go back
Season's Kitchen has a great menu with very well thought through mains and side dishes to create delightful meals. The waiting staff were very thoughtful and helped with suggestions and gave insight into the ingredients and techniques in order to help us order the perfect meal. A very good experience.
We had a lovely evening - great food and good service. Its a small restaurant with a warm friendly atmosphere. The rhubarb and custard donuts were amazing!
It was fine, nothing disastrous but I was expecting more. Negative points include a protruding nails sticking out of the seat of my chair that I was concerned was going to rip my trousers, the mussels were in a kind of lukewarm dirty dish water and I had hoped they would be in a creamy white wine sauce, the chocolate and rosemary pot had been overstated. Positive points include a really intimate and attractive 'front room' style setting. The chargrilled onion skins were delicious as was the wine.
I loved this restaurant - it's the first time I've enjoyed healthy, fast food. It used to be a great option for pre-theatre meals but now that they've cut the early dinner specials menu it's a bit overpriced to visit regularly. A real shame.
Really good value Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. A great neighbourhood restaurant worth checking out if you are near Finsbury Park or Stroud Green 😄
A small well thought-out menu results in some imaginative dishes served with great charm in a slightly funky little dining room. Somebody here really cares about food and taking care of customers. Interesting selection of wines too. I loved it.
Traveled 45 mins, stuck in traffic on a rainy day to enter a warm and cosy friendly restaurant with great food and awesome service. Much more than the neighborhood restaurant this is billed to be.
Marvellous! Lovely relaxed small bistro, have been coming here for years and never fails to impress, fresh delicate and simple modern British cooking, staff very friendly and efficient.
Fantastic food, will be back for sure. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great meal, tried new things and menu was put together brilliantly. Limited but well selected wine list too.
Excellent food, great service and fantastic value for money. A gem on Stroud Green Road and the best restaurant in Finsbury Park. Ideal for pre-show dining if you are going to the Park Theatre!
Incredible, unfussy food with a lovely wine selection at reasonable prices, right by Finsbury Park station. Delicious salads and bufala, excellent steak, and perfectly cooked sides.
Interesting and delicious food - we ordered pretty much everything, and shared so as not to miss out. Charming staff. I think Season is the perfect local restaurant.
Excellent food! It was presented very well. The staff had good knowledge of gluten free options. Great service - attentive waiter. I would recommend this restaurant.
I've been to Season Kitchen a number of times over the last 5 years or so and it continues to be a very pleasant experience with great food and service, conveniently situated a few minutes from Finsbury Park Station.
Great service, good food, great music and atmosphere. We had the Bone Marrow, and the Burrata to start, followed by ricotta tortellini and the nutloaf. Both very nice meals, with a good balance of flavour.
