San Lorenzo - Gosforth

I took my family for afternoon lunch and it did not fail to deliver. Three of us ordered from the early bird lunch menu and my six year old from kids menu. He got to make his own pizza and wear a chefs hat provided by the staff. Needless to say it was the best pizza ever (according to him and the manager) We had starter and pasta main which was delicious. Total bill including soft drinks for everyone was £44. Great value in my books. We've been a few times to San Lorenzos and will continue to visit. Highly recommended.

The service was very good. Meal lovely. The only thing was it closed at 10.00 pm, we would have liked to stay longer and maybe have another few drinks.

The restaurant is lovely and bright, the staff were helpful and there when you needed them. Food was really delicious and good value for money.

Quick service, very helpful staff, very good food. The kids loved making their pizza and were entertained between waiting for starter and main course with colouring which made the experience more pleasant. The children couldn't finish their meals due to large portions but got them wrapped up to take home which was handy.

Fabulous! Food was excellent and service was just right. Pizzas were big and really good, bruscetta was to die for! Going back again this weekend!

This is our favourite restaurant on Gosforth high st ànd we always enjoy our visit. It was buzzing at 6.30 when we arrived but were served immediately with a lovely bottle of Merlot and very tasty food as always. The staff are all friendly and attentive and the bright new decor adds to a very pleasant evening out.

The meal was excellent. Service the very best and a great atmosphere. Will be back for sure. Must not forget that it was great value for money.

The food and service were lovely and liked the busy atmosphere! The only disappointments were the price of my glass of wine was £6.10 which I found very overpriced for Pinot Grigio and I don't like the fact that you have to pay for side dishes to make up your main course. However, I will go back in future as the meal was very tasty!

First time back at San Lorenzo since it re opened. It didn't disappoint, the new decor is beautiful but it hasn't lost the relaxed family atmosphere it always had. The food and service were brilliant - it's good to have you back! Thank you

Sunday lunch excellent roast sirloin of beef served with a good selection of vegetables and the most enormous Yorkshire pudding Ive had in a long time. Good service reasonable price.

San Lorenzo is a great venue in a good location. Food is great and staff attentive. Will be going back again soon with our family.

Went for our anniversary we were made really welcome by the manager. The food was great with excellent flavours. Got a free garlic bread for it being our anniversary. Really well priced we would definitely go again

our recent visit to san lorenzo surpassed even our previous visits as the food continues to be even more impressive and the service and attention to customer service excellent. The staff and maagement are very obliging and it appears that san lorenzo can only go from strength to strengh. We are looking forward to our next visit which will not be long in the waiting

San Lorenzo is an authentic Italian Restaurant on Gosforth High Street. We were very pleased with our pizzas and the accompanying house wine was very acceptable. Will we return? Indeed we will.
