Good food, friendly service, interesting environment. Went for my son's 20th birthday, we would commend the place, and the serving staff. A hidden gem in Barnsley
Great food. In particular, the seafood linguini was up there as the best I've ever eaten, as was the creme brulee dessert. Lovely setting for the restaurant and atmosphere too
Really pleasant staff, food was excellent. Staff attentive without being in your face, food was fresh, prompt and really good coffee! Would highly recommend. Thanks.
A Lovely rustic restaurant with amazing food! The staff are incredibly attentive staff.
Lovely food! Staff was really friendly couldn't do enough for you. Defiantly will go again. Loved it. First time I've been there and it was beautiful
Polite and friendly staff were very attentive throughout, from bringing pre- dinner drinks and showing us downstairs to the bar, to serving our food. The meal was very good, some tasty, well-cooked dishes. Staff also advised us about specials that weren't on the menu. All in all, it was a lovely evening with good food and service.
Lovely restaurant, very attentive staff and lovely filling food, shame we couldn't fit a pudding in! I would most definitely go back again. We booked with no problems on line
Great staff, fantastic food well worth a try 😃 . Thay never rush you great location easy to find plenty of parking spaces . My favourite restaurant
This was our first visit to Boccellis and we were not disappointed. The service was fist class, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was excellent. All in all a great restaurant.
Great ambience. The staff are attentitive but not intrusive. They are also very efficient. The building with the ordinal stonework makes for a venue with a difference. The food is excellent especially the 'sea bass in a bag' mwha. It was very busy, Saturday night at 7. This of course adds to the atmosphere. Would I dine here again? Most definitely. Can't find annything to fault, except unfortunately the number of steps to the restaurant.
I was disappointed with the main course dish that I ordered. It was mussels in white wine but the mussels were tiny. Apart from this the service was very good.
Lovely old building but bench seats at some tables were uncomfortable and too low. Food was disappointing. Steak good but veg with it was a limited choice and poorly cooked. Salmon pasta was almost inedible with overpowering tomato sauce and far too much salt. It was presented in a deep glass bowl that made it look unappealing from the start.
The food is bland, if you order the same food twice the portion are different ( 1 is bigger than other) The main course is not coming together ( mine is 10 minutes late while other starting their meal) At the end asking for the bill they don't give your change back
