Evetything as usual was excellent. I noticed as I was being shown to my table I had forgotten to bring any means of settling my bill after dining. I was about to return home to get my wallet but was told it wasn't necessary as they trusted me ,and said I could settle my bill next time I came in. These days acts of kindness like this are very rare indeed.

Can’t fault the food, but when visiting as a couple and you are put next to two big tables of noisy people it kinda spoils the atmosphere....

I don't give top Mark's as I like to say there has to be room for improvement. As I keep going back most weeks I am obviously very satisfied with everything at San Giovani. I'm not sure how things can improve, but at least I have left some room for a little. Regards Pete Williams

This was a pre birthday meal with our daughter. We have been before and as previous times a great time.

Staff were excellent, very friendly & welcoming. The food was gorgeous, one of us had see bass and the other had steak, both cooked to perfection, didn’t want the meal to end.

Food was delicious. We were a group of 6 adults and 2children. Children and 5 adults served promptly but 1 adult meal was slightly delayed and served together with the veg for the steaks served first! Not the worst that could have happened on a busy night. Overall a great night, our waiter was attentive and on the ball. We will be back.

Had fish cake starter which were excellent you can actually taste the fish. The Stroganoff was very good but you might need a side of roast potatoes as the portion is relatively small

Lovely meal, could not fault anything. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was absolutely gorgeous. This isn’t by far the best meal we have had in a long time.

Delicious food. The lobster ravioli is AMAZING!! Can’t get enough of the food from here. Reasonably priced and just delicious. Moving away from the area this week, but will be travelling back to visit here for sure!

Delicious food in a lovely restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. Friendly attentive staff, both had the scallop starter from the specials menu and really enjoyed this and the mains, I had lobster ravioli which I would definitely have again. All at a reasonable price, will be back soon!

Great food and service. Certainly the best restaurant in Urmston. Had an amazing night for my partners birthday. Not as pricy as the Italian chain restaurants in Manchester.

We are locals and this has become our go-to restaurant for family do’s. The EarlyBird menu is excellent value but you can also mix and match. The staff are very friendly and professional and the welcome is not forced as it can be in other restaurants. I would happily recommend this restaurant if you want good food, good service and an excellent pint of Peroni.

Food and service excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Made a special birthday celebration extra special. Wide choice of food from pasta pizza to fish chicken and steak.

Service was a bit slow, antipasto for starter was tasty, pizza for main was nice but nothing to write home about. Good value for money - especially the house wine for £13 a bottle! Wouldn’t rush back here but enjoyed the night overall.

Very nice pasta dishes. Wine was so nice we had a second bottle. Service was good too not over the top but attentive. Always good. Recommended.
