First visit, great menu, loads of food I want to try. Gonna have to go back soon. Top notch. Cannot believe I haven't been before

The food was lovely. The service was very good. The atmosphere was open and relaxed. I was told to look out for the light fittings upstairs, but I'm only 5ft 5in.

Lovely meal for my husband's birthday. Attentive waiter. Food delicious and presented beautifully. Very plentiful. Drinks , I thought a bit expensive, small Cobra, £4. Not my usual tipple so not really sure about that, just my opinion. Over all great and highly recommended

A pleasant evening, but slightly lacking in atmosphere. It was fairly quiet when we arrived on the evening, and the service was a little slow to start with once the drinks had arrived. The food was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The staff were friendly, and everywhere looked very clean . Definitely worth another visit, perhaps on a different night.

The best food of its kind I've had. Plenty for us vegans on the menu and all clearly marked. Options I've not seen on any other menu. Highly recommended, will definitely be back without hesitation.

Food was amazing and the staff were so lovely. My mum found her food a bit too spicy and they offered to remake (we rejected as we didn't want to waste it) so they gave her some yogurt to tame it instead. Highly recommend to everyone.

A real great find! A local restaurant we hadn’t tried before. Popadoms to start with accompanied with some very nice dips. Not the usual kind and very nicely presented so a good start. The menu was quite different too with lots of vegetarian options and all curries were gluten free so very interesting. My wife went for her usual onion bhajis and I went for the chilli fish to start with. I have to say one of the best Indian starters I have ever had. The dish oozed quality and the bhajis superb too. My wife went for peppered chicken for the main course and I went for one of the king prawn specials, sorry can’t remember what it was called. What I did remember was again it was a quality dish. Not oily and the sauce and texture were perfect and a generous portion of king prawns cooked perfectly. We had garlic naans too . If you want something a little different and quality food then I highly recommend the Ruchie. We will be going back soon. The service was very good too and the restaurant was clean and respectful of the present COVID guidelines. We had a great night.

Our first time here and it certainly won't be the last. We loved the fact that we were not at all rushed, it was very relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious - we couldn't fault it. We're already talking about coming back with friends who we know will love it too! Thankyou Ruchie.
