Meal excellent as the wife loves seafood, however service slow. The meal took nearly three hours from start to finish. The staff were very polite and aimed to please.

Very nice sushi. My main meal was nice but a little try hard and sickly. Good atmosphere and lovely staff. Had a lovely evening overall.

service was first class. Food was amazing. Can't fault it. Would definitely go back again. Pleasant atmosphere and comprehensive but not overwhelming menu and drinks choice. Recommended.

The food is fantastic; both the flavours and presentation. We had great service, the waitresses were smartly dressed and polite, and there is a lovely ambience!

Enjoyable evening, we would have liked to have been advised more about how to order as we had never been before we were slightly disappointed.

Very good as always; never had a bad experience here, as soon as you walk in you're greated by friendly staff. Service was a bit slow this time round but I think this was a one off as usually service is very good. It is expensive but the set menu at £20 a head is great value.

We have been to this restaurant many times & would have previously given it full marks. This was our first visit for a while.... the restaurant was very busy, & whilst apologies were made, service was very slow... this restaurant is pricey so in my opinion the service quality should be that of the food... The menu had changed, & whilst the food was on the whole, excellent, there were some favourites missing... The chicken looked very pink on the appetiser (after we had waited AGES) ...we were assured it was because it was 'thigh meat'...we weren't really convinced & it wasn't looked at... too busy perhaps? The desserts are very good but were significantly more expensive than the last time we ate here... they didn't warrant the hefty price tags... I can't believe I am saying this about this restaurant but I was a bit disappointed on the whole.

Dining at Ogino is a lovely experience, the food was first class and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The open kitchen allows diners to view the food being prepared, which in itself is a fascinating experience, especially seeing sushi being prepared. Thoroughly recommended, we will definitely be going again!!

Friendly staff and an excellent menu. The set menu was extemely good value. The food was served promptly and the waiting staff had a good knowledge of the food and helpful when asked questions about the menu and wine.

Ogino has great food and lovely staff. This is our 'treat' place & we've never been disappointed. It is on the pricy side but overall, a fantastic place to eat!

A delicious meal with amazing presentation that clearly has had a lot of thought and effort put into it. Slightly slow due to the number of tables booked in the restaurant but overall a brilliant meal with lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be returning soon and recommending to friends and family.

The service was really good and quick. Quality of the sushi is really good and delicious. Highly recommended. In my personal opinion oyster shoots were standard, not worthy the cost.

Lovely food and lovely staff. Everything is immaculate and we were well accommodated for for James' birthday. All in all a very good experience and we will come again.

Fantastic food, service and host. Would highly recommend, just absolutely delicious Japanese food with a modern twist. Don't miss out on the sushi especially the crispy crab roll too. Also the cherry smoked duck was the best I've had anywhere!

The food, as always, was exceptional but staff were a little lapse tonight, not keeping on top of our drinks, bringing menus and the bill. Service is normally exceptional at this wonderful restaurant and we will definitely go back

Third visit here and it never disappoints. Five star ambience, staff and food. First time I've had dessert and it blew me away how gorgeous it was. Perfect night!!

Ate in a beautiful Japanese style setting, the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive and efficient. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Couldn't have been better, we will most definitely return.
