Ogino is my favourite restaurant, the service and quality of the food has always been top notch, we have never had anything less than perfection when we have visited! If you like Japanese food visit here! The spider crab sushi is my favourite!

Food was great. I thought it might be mostly fish but there was an excellent and wide choice. My wife and I both found food we thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the third time we have been to this restaurant. We have never been disappointed with any aspect of the service and the food is always delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and the atmosphere is lively, especially at a weekend. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for something a bit different.

Beautiful food and lovely experience. Would continue to go back again and again. Black Sesame Creme Brûlée was a particular favourite as it's salty sweet! Can't wait to go back.

Outstanding food presented beautifully, the service was excellent and the restaurant is beautifully appointed. We have rebooked for a Christmas party and will certainly be visiting again in the meantime. Well done to all the staff.

The food was tremendous, the staff were attentive but not too dominant and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We went for our anniversary as we did last year and it was as good now as it was a year ago. We would thoroughly recommend a visit (try the duck.....mmmmm)

Good service and fresh quality food, a hidden gem as never full when we go. Only wish we lived nearer. Not cheap but never feel disappointed.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great staff ready to help navigating the menu - I think that's part of the fun but others were finding the menu frustrating.. A very good meal. At over £50 p/p with no booze maybe expensive for Beverley.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Staff also knowledgeable in dishes so if we had questions about them they were able to tell us on the spot. Desserts slightly overpriced for the choice. Would definitely go back to try some of the other items on the menu and recommend to others. Nice place to go for an occasion like a birthday or anniversary!

Our table was situated so that the seats either faced the kitchen or the table behind. Would have felt better sitting side on. Otherwise very enjoyable experience

Food excellent, well-presented and good portions. Service also excellent, very attentive and responsive without being intrusive. Timing fine, with no sense of being rushed. Nice ambience, not too noisy or with over-loud music. As it's a Japanese restaurant I slightly regret the lack of Japanese chefs/cooks in the kitchen but those who are there clearly know what they're doing. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

This special valentine meal was wonderful. The decor was tasteful yet sweet. The couples sharing starters and desserts delicious and attractively presented. The choice of main courses was a little more limited than usual but still gave a reasonable choice. we enjoyed out experience so much we will be back next year.

We arrived early and were seated in the bar area. Very comfortable seats . We received fantastic service from all the staff ,really good atmosphere and feel about the place and amazing food. Will definitely be returning again.

We came here for my birthday as I love it and we weren't disappointed - food, service and atmosphere were fabulous as always and when we couldn't eat any more the helpful staff offered to box it up so I could enjoy it again the next day! Will absolutely be back

We used the private dining experience for a work meeting. This accorded an excellent space and ambience for our discussions with unobtrusive service. As always the food was exquisite.

The best Japanese restaurant on Beverley. We once took Japanese friends and they said that the food was authentic. The atmosphere is good. We needed to pre-order vegetarian dishes as they are cooked freshly. Very nice. It was worth it.

Overall excellent. The service was good , the food very good apart from one main course where the pork was tough but a discount was given on that meal so we were happy with the response. We have been to ogino many times and have always enjoyed the experience.

Staff were very helpful and informative with their recommendations. Food was excellent, will certainly eat here again when next in the area. We had a table with a view of the kitchen and couldn't believe the care and attention the food preparation received.

Excellent looking eating and bar area. First class service and quality of food. Only improvement would be the extraction of cooking smells as the eating area at times was a cloud of cooking fumes.

Popular and bustling restaurant just off the main street in Beverley. So many lovely dishes to choose from on this varied menu. Portions are generous. Service is friendly and efficient. A 'must visit' when in the area!

Our experience at Ogino was fantastic! The staff, the ambience, and especially the food, were all excellent and we can't wait to go again. Can't recommend it highly enough and encourage anyone who likes to try something a little bit different to give it a go!
