Absolutely beautiful restaurant with knowledge and polite staff. The food was out of this world with a wide array of traditional Japanese options such as sushi and sashimi plus mind blowing mains. Highly recommend the taster platter. Looking forward to going back already.

I’ve never left Ogino disappointed and tonight was no exception. Beautiful soft shell crab roll and a simply stunning tuna main. My wife’s belly pork starter and crab main course were equally exquisite.

First class service and food. Not one fault we could find with this Japanese restaurant. Took starters orders first whilst we decided which mains we wanted. Great idea! Hope to get back asap.

Beautiful food, great atmosphere, service excellent! I ordered a lovely tuna dish, whilst the wife had the smoked duck which was to die for. The sake went down well also.

I took my husband for his birthday. The service was first rate as was the food. It is on the pricey side but I guess it’s as the saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’. I would only go as a special treat for this reason.

The food, surroundings and the staff are all top notch here. Introduced to this place a year or so ago it has maintained its high standards. A must for all foodies even those who are apprehensive about trying Japanese food, I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised. The ambience is relaxing, the staff attentive and food divine. My only complaint is that i haven’t had opportunity to eat there for a while!

Yet again amazing food. If I had one gripe it would be that they have a separate vegetarian menu but you have to preorder at least 24 hours in advance. this is ok if you know, but if you don't you could be disappointed. I'm not a fan of preordering as you can change your mind. other than that gripe excellent food and excellent service.

Fine if you just want to experience some Japanese flavours but not if you want to find out about real Japanese cuisine. The food that we ate was well-cooked and tasty but the main menu should definately be termed Japan-fusion or something similar, as it cannot be considered traditionally authentic. We were very disappointed for this reason. The mains were western 'haute cuisine' in concept with the addition of some Japanese flavours. We did not intend eating sushi but, apart from that, could only piece together a traditional Japanese meal from a starter and couple of side dishes. One drink, two pieces of sushi, 2 ebi (prawn) tempura, half a small bowl of rice with salmon and ginger each, one bowl of miso soup and a dish of eda-mamae soy beans cost £68.00.

Excellent as always. The chicken liver and miso parfait was so smooth and delicious.

Wonderful setting, nice proffesional staff, we have been going to Ogino for a while now and have rarely had an issue. The food is wonderful with a wide selection.

A welcome return after too long. We were not disappointed and once again had the most lovely dinner with fresh, exciting and sometimes unusual and new flavours and superb presentations, good wine and good service.

Wonderful food, wonderful company, two wonderful bottles of red wine. Been lunching, dining and drinking at Ogino since it ooened, two fun New Yesrs Eve celebrations, and a few birthdays, we even held our wedding reception there. Memories.

First time visiting Ogino. Went with my Wife for her birthday. Great experience and food was extremely good quality. Lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant. Will definitely visit again

Everything was beautiful as usual, but maybe have a word with the pot washer as staring out from the kitchen and passing comments to the chef's who were working is a little off putting and it was clear that he was talking about the customers.

Lovely food enjoyable evening lacking in atmosphere a little and watch out for the credit card charge extra £2 if paying by Amex on a bill of £175 !! Bit cheeky especially when this will be illegal from January.

Surroundings are lovely, but menu was very expensive and also quite limited in choice. Also, my husband spent the following day with indigestion. Not somewhere we will done at again.

Orgino is one of my favourite restaurants and we are never disappointed. There were a few new dishes on the menu. Love the tasting sharing platter to start and I chose the Leven duck which was superb, all our party of 6 had a great evening served by staff who went the extra mile. Thank you again we will return soon.

Restaurant beautifully decorated in Japanese style. Service is excellent and the waitresses and waiters pleasant and very helpful . Food is excellent and beautifully presented . Definitely worth visiting and the family shall visit again
