Sadly not as good as previous visits. When given the dessert menu and after choosing was told only half the menu was available!! Staff clearly wanted to go home. It was a bleak winter afternoon granted, but we weren’t late!! Let’s say you could tell the manager wasn’t around!!

The food is always excellent here and the staff are very attentive. We arrived half an hour early but were shown to our table within a few minutes.

Delicious and well presented food. The staff were pleasant throughout. The portions were generous, although left wanting more, given it`s quality. Will visit again with the family.

We were a party of 6....everyone enjoyed the food. Very different and fabulous. Excellant service a brilliant evening we all would love to re visit some time soon.

Excellent quality as always. Remember to pre-order the oyster shooters. Nice to see ongoing revision of the menu to keep it interesting. Premium price, but you get what you pay for.

Ogino is always a first class food experience the staff are also wonderfull and tonight I was able to view the kitchen as they prepared the food very professionally we have been several times and it’s one of our favourite restaurants

My wife and I have been several times, and every time we have been the food and service have been excellent. A bit expensive, but when you know the food is going to be top quality you don't mind paying....yet to be disappointed with anything! Our favourite restaurant.

Restaurant was clean and tidy, lovely atmosphere, food was great. The only let downs, I noticed the evening we went to the restaurant 2 or 3 members of staff looked so miserable, never smiled and felt looked down upon by these individuals. We also had to wait a fair amount of time for our food but it was worth the wait.

We enjoyed the experience but felt the dishes had lost a little flavour, change of chef adding his own touch but not as tasty as we have ben used to over the past few years. We will go again but try something different from the menu.

Cannot fault the food or the service here, perfect as always. We look forward to our next visit 😋

Excellent table, service and FABULOUS, FAULTLESS food. Got the wrong bottle of (more expensive) wine but were given it at the price of the bottle we'd ordered, so no complaints there. Love the ambience and have recommended this restaurant to all our friends.

Fantastic evening the food is just wonderful, great service and wonderful surroundings. Ogino is truly a great experience from beginning to end. The banana Katsu is to die for!

Food very good but service not so. Only one person the bar serving table orders and welcoming customers. Had to wait for two out of our three courses.

Lunch for 4 on a Saturday. Wonderful food and service. Booking online was easy and quick. We all had 3 courses and they were all wonderful.

Ordered the fillet steak and it wasn't cooked as requested. Manager accepted that steak wasn't checked before serving. Shame,although desserts were provided free of charge.

Another visit to our favourite restaurant and a new menu to try out. Excellent as always and a real treat, definitely worth a visit for something a bit different.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to and currently the best restaurant overall in Beverley. Not cheap but worth every penny. Fab

We ate the most amazing food we'd had in years at Ogino. Every morsel was a delight for the senses and Japanese is now a favourite cuisine of ours! A fabulous choice for a special occasion.
