Once again this restaurant never fails to please and the food is always consistently good.

Great as always. Chilled out birthday lunch for my friend.

The food is an excellent combination of traditional Japanese cooking with modern cuisine.

Great meal only problem was large birthday party with kids running around, but overall grand meal

Had the tapas set menu with cocktails included, really good value! Had too much food but still found room for dessert.

Food was great. Shame it’s so expensive, or I would eat there more often! The table was too wide, to hear anyone’s conversation at the other side. I was expecting a table with the chef, but the restaurant is not set like most Japanese restaurants. (Just normal dining). Our waiter was very good. It was very difficult to find the restaurant, it is down a side street and set right back, with no signs to say where it is. We had to ask people in the streets. Not sure how a disabled person would access this restaurant. As I did not see any lift, and you have to walk up a steep set of stairs. My father struggled with his legs. The food was great though! I would definitely consider another visit.

Lovely atmospheric restaurant with very high quality and authentic food.

It was their first night of the new tapas menu, 3 tapas dishes with a choice of Japanese beer, a cocktail or a glass of Prosecco for £19.90. Absolutely beautiful tasting food and presented wonderfully. Massive portions which I hope they continue to do, excellent service. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely restaurant and great service, but so overpriced. The quality of the food has gone downhill, and we felt is now not really different from Wagamama, but at several times the price. Hugely disappointed.

We had a lovely evening as a group of six. We waited a long time for the starter but were rewarded with gratis miso soup. Too many times we were asked if we were ready to order when still looking at menus but could really have used some help navigating the menu. Our waiter looked upsettingly poorly. Food was very good. Pinot Grigio was very average but quite pricey.

One of our vegetarian guests was served none vegetarian food and they accidentally ate it. Although this was removed from the bill it was a bit awkward. One of our starters was missed off the order so had to wait for that to be cooked after everyone else was served. The lamb on the main was a bit fatty. Amazing pork starter and amazing desert Shame about the mixups

Half diners were on a groupon voucher which seemed unfair for what’s meant to be a nice restaurant with high prices. Strange atmosphere. Gin expensive yet serve in a tumbler. Not special enough. Food was good and great flavours but small portions on some dishes. Sides way over priced. Tiny bowl of rice almost £4. Serious review needed as this is taking away from the great flavours, food and potential.

We arrived early but they were happy to seat us right away. Service was speedy and food was amazing! Very authentic sushi and the decor of the room was lovely.
