A relaxing, delicious experience. All the food we ordered was intensely tasty. The decor, service and food are all outstanding. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Japanese food.

Good food in a busy restaurant with friendly staff. Good chance to try something a little different. Always a nice way to eat food with chopsticks as you don’t tend to rush.

Our meal was ruined by the length of time it took for the food to arrive. We had a half hour wait between courses. No discount just apologies from staff. The just said enjoy the rest of your evening as we left at 11:00pm. As if it happened all the time.

Great produce, menu and service plus the overall ambiance was chilled - tables with plenty of room and not on top of other diners which was good.

This visit we took some friends who are real foodies was their first time to Ogino, we all had a fantastic meal. The food is outstanding service spot on, anyone who has not been to Ogino are missing out on something special, a must visit restaurant.

This was our fourth visit to Ogino. As always a warm and friendly greeting awaited. Menu choice and food excellent. Service was outstanding. Will surely go again.

Lovely mix of food on the menu to suit everyone. The sushi is very good. Interesting main dishes with good desserts. The black sesame ice cream and creme brûlée is very nice. The staff are very attentive. Would definitely go back.

Excellent food, excellent service, as usual! Went for Mum’s birthday and they made her dessert extra special! Pork Kakuni and red hot tuna are still my favourite!

This was our first visit to Ogino, but it won't be our last. We were blown away by the refined Japanese cuisine, the beautiful surroundings and confident, informative staff who all gave excellent recommendations and advice to ensure we made the best choices. All our dishes were served so artistically and tasted sublime. Can not wait to return.

Food presentation and quality was excellent enhanced by attentive friendly staff. Having visited Japan on many occasions during my working life this was a good experience for my family to enjoy Japanese style dining with me.

An amazing dining experience with wonderful ambience and service. It is certainly not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. it was worth every penny, and is probably up there with the best meal I have ever had. Will be back again without doubt.

We've been to Ogino several times and never been disappointed. The food is exceptional and good value for money. The service is friendly, prompt and courteous. It's an excellent all round experience.

Absolutly love this place. Our favourite restaurant for special occasions and celebrations. Food is fantastic, drinks are great and the service is without fault. I recommend the starting sharer platter, which is regularly refreshed and is always some thing new to try. The sesame creme brule is amazing. Well worth the cost.

Both the food and the service are of the highest quality. I myself am a avid enthusiast of Japanese culture and their cuisine, and even I found items on the menu that I’ve not seen before outside of Japan. Those of our party who are not interested in Japan found the food delicious, and what stands out the most is the service etiquette, where my mother was given a birthday dessert message, without us asking, and the waiters gave a background on the sale when they served it. Another holiday doe me was the decor, which included noh masks, a private dining area and Japanese magazines. It all added to the feeling of it being ‘Beverley, In the shadow of Mount Fuji’.

Fantastic food and service, highly recommended. Attention to detail with presentation is outstanding. Try the Gyu Maki a consistent favourite and the Sea Bass cooked perfectly.

The service was very good, the place itself is nice. Only problem was that my pork was chewy and I would have expected more choice of veggie food. Pleasant evening on the whole.

Ogino is my favourite restaurant, the service and quality of the food has always been top notch, we have never had anything less than perfection when we have visited! If you like Japanese food visit here! The spider crab sushi is my favourite!

Food was great. I thought it might be mostly fish but there was an excellent and wide choice. My wife and I both found food we thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the third time we have been to this restaurant. We have never been disappointed with any aspect of the service and the food is always delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and the atmosphere is lively, especially at a weekend. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for something a bit different.

Outstanding food presented beautifully, the service was excellent and the restaurant is beautifully appointed. We have rebooked for a Christmas party and will certainly be visiting again in the meantime. Well done to all the staff.

Good service and fresh quality food, a hidden gem as never full when we go. Only wish we lived nearer. Not cheap but never feel disappointed.

Lovely experience will be returning! I'd prefer a larger selection of cocktails. But the food is divine and well worth a visit, very impressive, see you soon.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great staff ready to help navigating the menu - I think that's part of the fun but others were finding the menu frustrating.. A very good meal. At over £50 p/p with no booze maybe expensive for Beverley.

Food excellent, well-presented and good portions. Service also excellent, very attentive and responsive without being intrusive. Timing fine, with no sense of being rushed. Nice ambience, not too noisy or with over-loud music. As it's a Japanese restaurant I slightly regret the lack of Japanese chefs/cooks in the kitchen but those who are there clearly know what they're doing. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

The food was tremendous, the staff were attentive but not too dominant and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We went for our anniversary as we did last year and it was as good now as it was a year ago. We would thoroughly recommend a visit (try the duck.....mmmmm)
