Our party of three thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. The service was unobrtusive but attentive, and the food was excellent. I can recommend the agnolotti (from the set dinner menu) as a starter, and my wife and I both enjoyed the beef stroganoff. The only surprise was that there wasn't any lamb, which one of our party might have chosen, on either the set menu or the a la carte menu. Although the wine list isn't huge, the wines were all reasoanbly priced. All in all, an enjoyable experience!

Been going here for many years. Food always good. Staff attentive and polite. Great atmosphere. Next thing we would like to try is the end of month music nights.

Friendly and relaxed family run restaurant. Good food, with a great ‘specials’ selection this evening which was realistically priced too. We will be back again.

Excellent choice on the set menu , excellent service and extremely good value . Have been coming here now for about fifteen years and never had a bad meal.

My mother and I had a delicious meal, cooked to order. The selection of breads we had as a starter were very tasty. Mum's ravioli filled with smoked salmon was served with a cream sauce and she said it was divine. I had fresh tomato pasta with a lovely range of vegetables.

Good Sunday evening set menu. Enjoyed the food, the house wine and the service. Unfortunately there was a rowdy and raucous table of eight in that ruined the evening for us.

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Amazing staff! Haven’t been for a few years and the decor & toilets have been updated and are immaculately clean. Really excellent set menu. Can’t recommend highly enough, well done to all their staff.

The food at Il Capriccio was very good and the atmosphere was nice, but we did have rather a long wait. Would definitely go back

You booked us in on a Monday lunchtime but the restaurant only opens in the evening We didn't get a meal as the place was shut !!!!

What a lovely restaurant. There is something for everyone to eat. The prices are fair the food is amazing and the staff are great. I would highly recommend this restaurant for all occasions.

The service was swift but not hurried and the portions were extremely generous and well cooked. Don’t eat for the whole day before you go! The restaurant was full so book in advance to get a table.

Enjoyed the musician and the food was very good. Service could be improved though. I would recommend this restaurant for a work or friends night out.

My partner and I visited Il Capriccio recently to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed some lovely food, coupled with good service and pleasant ambience. Would recommend this restaurant to others seeking authentic Italian cuisine in a local setting.

Excellent food and service with a good choice on the special lunch menu with generous portions which our party thoroughly enjoyed we be returning soon.

Total lack of warmth or any kind of greeting which was disappointing. Service was good but again without a smile. Very unusual for an Italian restaurant

Superb food and wine, friendly and professional service, comfortable atmosphere - my favourite local restaurant! We recommend the seafood pancakes, skate in butter and capers and oranges in Grand Marnier with cream.

Good morning We had a lovely time, the food was lovely and hot, and they were generous portions. Lovely family atmosphere, all ages which was nice. Would have preferred a straight table rather than two round ones pulled together as I feel it split the party a little. Very importantly though, the ladies toilets were clean and nicely presented, which is where some restaurants fall behind. Definately come again and try the weekly menu. Thank you.

Excellent food and service for our party of 10 there for Sunday lunch. I have received the same excellent service when there has been just 2 of us. Has become a regular venue.

Lovely Italian restaurant with excellent courses. Great customer service and 10 points for mussels and steaks preparation. Definitely come back with my girlfriend. Highly recommended.

I have been to this Restaurant many times over several years and have lots of surprise parties there. The food is always good. The waiters have all be there years.

Reliable - excellent value - a pity they don’t offer a season ticket! The deserts particularly good - sliced oranges could perhaps be improved with added Grand Marnier at a supplement?

Food was good slightly slow service but we wasn’t in a rush. The music kept stopping making the restaurant very quiet you could hear other tables conversations

They were very busy, but served us with a smile. Always get good service. Very noisy with so many customers eating and chatting, but an enjoyable visit. Hope to get back there soon.

Eleven of us went for an early Christmas dinner. Excellent food large portions, was full after starter. Service could be quicker but we were not in a hurry. Will certainly return soon.

We have no complaints at all. The service and the food were excellent. We also feel their prices are very reasonable bearing in mind it is 3 full courses plus coffee.

Starter was fine. My wife's main dish - skate - was very salty. Her dessert of applie pie and cream was stone cold - normally served warm or hot in restaurants.

We always enjoy our lunch at Il Cappricio in Ewell. First rate set lunch for lunch is exceptionally good value. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been to Il Capriccio many, many times and have never been disappointed. Food, staff and service are always excellent and we can thoroughly recommend it.

Very slow service. Some of the food was not great but some was. Staff didn't care when we complained. Do not order the Sunday roast it is awful.

Excellent service and food always enjoyed our visit to the Restaurant. Pity last time we went they were awaiting their license to sell alcohol to be awarded If we had know we could have taken our own .We have booked our clubs Christmas Lunch there so it must be good. Although its a problem to contact them in person.

The food was excellent as usual and very good value for money but it seemed like there were not enough waiting staff to cope with the demand of a Sunday lunchtime as the delays between courses got longer as the meal went on!
