Red Mezze

We went to the early bird special. The food was excellent, plenty to eat, the service was great lovely staff and the restaurant was very clean. Great value for money. We will be back!

Food was delicious. We did however feel a little rushed as it was clear our table was wanted for new diners. Would recommend for a quick tasty bite to eat.

Really good restaurant, the staff were really friendly and the food was brilliant from starters to dessert . Defiantly will be going back in the future.

Twice in 1 week, what else can I say but FAB! Service was excellent, food was hot and tasty. Efes beer is light and very drinkable. Staff are all over it and the Baklava is too die for. I had the Adana Kebab and my boss had the chicken Iskender superb. Really guys go and you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to visiting Red Mezze next time back in Newcastle on business.

The lunch-time menu offer is extremely good value and there is a good choice of tasty dishes available. Food is served relatively quickly and the environment is perfectly acceptable too. Strongly recommend.

Annual pilgrimage, just as fantastic as last year. Simple but fantastic turkish food. Attentive and friendly staff creating a relaxing atmosphere making you not want to leave. If you haven't been you should.

The food cannot be faulted but on a day when Newcastle were at home the service was poor. They missed simple things like bread, cutlery and the opportunity to sell more drinks. Will be a while before we pay another visit. Although we booked the table for 1.30 we were not shown to the table until 1.55. Generally had to rush our meal for 3.pm kick off. Good result for Newcastle United but poor performance by Red Mezze.

First time I've been to this restaurant and will definitely go again! There was an excellent choice of dishes and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and the service was spot on.

We love Red Mezze and are regular customers, but yesterday we felt very rushed throughout meal, no break between starter and main. Bill put on our table without even having the chance to look at the bill asked how we would like to pay. We also never got our lovely free treat if a sweet. Very disappointed but the food was fabulous as ever!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, even from before we got into the restaurant (they advised us not to park where we'd parked because we'd get a fine). The restaurant was quiet as it was a rainy mid-week night and we weren't rushed at all. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They even gave us a free dessert to share! It was also really affordable - two courses with an alcoholic drink for two people - £31. Fabulous!

Birthday meal, the staff were excellent, and the food was great, lovely flavours. The restaurant is small and it was busy as they offer an early bird special which was three courses for £9.95, but we didn't have to wait long for our food. Would defo recommend and go back again.

Have eaten at Red Mezze before and this was a similar experience. Booked online in case it was busy with local events taking place and promptly shown to table. Drinks sorted first, easy ordering and great food. ate 2 courses, starter and mains, and with drinks, the bill was a reasonable £30. Well worth a visit.

This was our first time in red mezze and we will definitely be going back. Lovely fresh tasty food, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff.

Beautiful food. Helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend. We always go before or after the match and have the three course special. Everything is very tasty with plenty of it.

Very nice staff, my partner really enjoyed her meal, I thought mine was ok, have had better moussaka but I guess everyone makes it slightly differently. Overall I'd happily recommend this restaurant

This restaurant was awesome! There was a buzz as soon as we entered and the waiter who looked after us had instant charm and personality. The food was tasty, light and well cooked. We really enjoyed the experience overall and would definitely return and recommend Red Mezze to other people.

What can I say about Red Meze. Fabulous Food. Lovely friendly staff who always welcome you back. Cosy friendly atmosphere. And reasonable prices. Good location too and you can sit outside in the summer and hear the Leaves roar on match days

Food was lovely as it always is. This is one of ny favourite restaurants. However the member of staff who served us had a bit of attitude, which was not pleasant.

Excellent value and good choice of menu. Ideally situated after shopping in Newcastle and good car parking facilities nearby. Would highly recommend a visit there.
