Nice, smart decor. Very good service. Nice food though a little bland and a little expensive. Enjoyed it all but no compelling reasons to return.

Rajdoot is consistently first class food; beautiful decor, top prices but worth it. Their rogan josh is delicious as is keema matar. Vegs on the expensive side.

Hugely impressed by food here - we'd be delighted to have every dish again. The veg in particular was cooked to perfection; melt-in-the-mouth cauliflower! Nice atmosphere with welcoming bar lounge, and thoughtful, attentive service.

Great restaurant, rather more expensive than some others I've been to, however, food was exceptionally good. It was a bit quiet for a Thursday but it was only 19:00 lol.

Expensive average food. Due to traffic we were 15 minutes late for our booking. We were left in the bar area for twenty minutes then taken to a table where we ordered our meal. Whilst eating we were made aware of the restaurants closing time by a member of staff, who also said if we had got there earlier we would have been looked after. £97.00 for two persons for two courses and the bill arrived as we had finished our main course. On the plus side it's a nice looking restaurant with a good atmosphere. Our booking was 10pm and they shut at 11pm. We were in Birmingham to see a show and on reflection a later opening restaurant would have been a better choice.

I thought the food was really expensive for the what you get - over £13 for what was really a basic Korma dish. It was also on the spicy & hot side, which is not quite right for a Korma.

The Rajdoot is one of our favourite restaurants. The restaurant itself is decorated with many fine examples of homeland reminders which adds to the overall atmosphere. The staff are always very pleasant, courteous & professional. The food is North Indian 'fine' dining with dishes excellently presented, but more importantly - all taste superb. We're already looking forward to our return.

the food was amazing.... however the service was poor. We booked a table for 7:30 and although it was empty we were not seated untill 8. we had to ask to order drinks, we also had to ask where our mains were as it took so long. It is a shame because food and decor are wonderful. I would advise to have a snack before you go due to the wait.

Best Indian restaurant in Birmingham in my opinion. Never been less than consistently excellent in the years I've been going there. Not multitudes of in-house concocted dishes just a small bistro-style menu of outstanding dishes. setting and decor is of the highest standard too.

Good food but very poor service. We had one drinks order all night. No one came to ask if we wanted any more drinks. The time between starter and mains was 50 minutes. We constantly had to chase. We also had to chase for the desert menu. Finally I had to chase twice to get my desert as it was forgotten. Poor service from what is supposed to be a class restaurant.

I've been eating Indian food for 52 years and have been frequenting Rajdoot for at least 35 years. In my opinion, the chef is one of the best in the UK. The decor and ambience of the restaurant are good and the staff are attentive. A great dining experience.

I was early, at 1800, so it took a while for the food to arrive (30 mins). The quality of the food was very good and I have no complaints. However, it is perhaps a bit pricey - given that a pint of Cobra was £4.50 and a main course nearly £13 and that did not include rice, sides, bread, etc. It is a personal thing, but I also hate the compulsory 10% service charge added to the bill - this should always be at the patron's discretion - depending upon the quality of the actual service received. I accept, though, that this is inner-city Birmingham and prices probably refeletc that location. I will, however, be going again!

I consider the Rajdoot Tandoori as one of the premier 'Indian' restaurants in the city. The welcome is always very friendly & the menu extensive - you're spoilt for choice. Irrespective of what you order the dish presented exceeds expectations. If my wallet & waistband would allow , I'd eat hear most nights of the week.

Booked a table on line, as soon as me and my partner got there we were sat down near the bar, we ordered out drinks, we were given a menu at the same time so we could order our food, the food was amazing, the service was excellent, I would recommend this place.

Great decor and service, however the food left a lot to be desired. The flavours and recipes were a little dated and the curries had a similar consistency and taste.
