Delicious food, we all had a different pie - I can highly recommend the steak and ale pie with chips! Fab deal on a Tuesday night pie with a side of mash/chips and gravy and a glass of wine/beer for only £15. Highly recommend sitting downstairs too for a real atmosphere.

This is a hidden treasure. Lovely staff and the pies are absolutely delicious 😋 I absolutely love this place and have never had a bad meal. This time I went for lunch with my mum and 2 sisters and we all loved it.

Despite a powercut covering Putney high street- the restaurant produced a couple of the best pies we had tasted. Much needed after a heavy day at work. Thank you!

From the minute you walk in you feel this is different and gonna be good . The staff are superb as is the food , starters through to the delicious pies. Only problem is as a pudding guy I was full! Can’t wait to return with rest of my family!!

The food was fantastic but the staff very grumpy, which ruined it a bit. Also, be aware that Friday and Saturday nights get lairy - there was a gig on in the basement and we were asked, mid-dinner, to be stamped etc. by the bouncers. It was just a bit odd. I love Putney Pies though, but during the week for sure.

As usual, we loved our visit to Putney Pies... great atmosphere, fantastic pies, great service... and this time we sat downstairs in the underground area (runs under the street) which was really cool. Thanks for the great experience Putney Pies keep it up..

Good venue, meal was ok, a little over priced if I am being totally honest. Service was good. Sat inside but river terrace looks appealing on warmer days!

Great kitchen produced delicious shepherds pie and chicken Wellington. Excellent beer and wine choices. And a most personable and efficient barman/waiter. Topped off by a great location at Putney Bridge.

Fantastic!. Best sunday roast in Putney by far. Great quality ingredients and friendly service. Only reason not a 6 is because the pudding options were disappointing. Please could we have rhubarb crumble and sticky toffee pudding.

The pies were excellent, the four of us could not rave about them more and we went down into the vault afterwards to check out the cool club, a great night.

Great venue if not small. Food good as always, Shame there was no acknowledgement when the bill was paid, I was left the card machine and that was the end of service! Would have been nice to be given my receipt and a goodbye.

Great atmosphere in the cavern, a nice selection of pints of real ale and pies. Sebastian our server was fun and funny and dished out fab food as well as a little banter. Will be back next time I’m in from the States.

Dont know whether it's changed hands. Have been going there for a few years, but recently there seems mych more focus on the vaults wine bar and less on the restaurant. A number of the dishes have silently dropped off the menu and the portions are definitely smaller.

Food was super tasty and service really friendly, only issue was that sitting by the music in the vault is a bit too loud for talking over dinner..

It's a nice venue with interesting artwork on the wall. We felt a little inferior as customers though, as other customers received more attention. They had run out of the Wellington starter, which was disappointing for a Saturday evening but the scotch egg starter was nice. The chicken and bacon pie was lovely - very packed and filling. The triple cooked chips were delicious but over salty for my liking. It's overpriced for what it is really so we probably wouldn't rush to go back.

They do exactly what the name suggests - great pies !! Superb pastry excellent choice of fillings, fresh salad. The wine list is good with a great choice of quality and prices. We sat outside on the banks of the Thames just by Putney Bridge and watched the sunset. Excellent service from a friendly and efficient waitress. Definitely going again soon !!!

I stopped here while I was on a short layover in London, and it was well worth the stop. The service, server, and food were fantastic. I was disappointed I did not have room to try more! I made a reservation, and the table was waiting for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. Would highly recommend !

The food and service were both excellent. We were thrilled to be able to sit by the river. It will be great when the riverbank works are completed and they remove that green fence! We'll definitely come back for food and drinks.

I booked Putney Pies after reading positive reviews, and boy were we impressed. We shared asparagus to start with a poached egg. And than I had the chicken and leek pie, and my boyfriend had belly pork. We than had enough room left for eton mess. It's a really good value for money as well, coming in at £52. We will most certainly be back, keep up the great work. Thank You!!
