Really enjoyed the food but the service was poor. Waited an age for drinks. One starter came and the second half an hour later after the waiter had said "oh I'll get yourother starter" three times as he passed! We gave our drink order twice to two waiters but asked for our bill in the end as we'd finished our food by then.

Excellent food as always, service 10/10 and even did my Dad a little birthday gift at the end of our meal. Attention to detail spot on.. best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been too! Highly recommend.

We waited 1hr 20mins for food after ordering. We asked where our food was after over an hour had passed and were brought plates, the food finally arrived about 10-15mins after that. Sauce for half Of the meals was forgotten so we had to wait again for that to arrive. This was my first visit and I have left disappointed.

Great restaurant, we've been going for years and it's always first class. Service from Ash and the staff is brilliant, nothings too much trouble. The food is always very good with an extensive menu and servings are generous. Parking in Poynton is very easy - and free! We highly recommend the Purple Pakora and will be going again and again.

Very nice ambiance and interior and friendly staff. This was our first time here so the main waiter gave us some great advice. Lovely food and very tasty but will order slightly milder next time.

My 3rd visit to the purple pakora poyton , food was delicious we had a selection of veggie dishes and a meat dish , food was amazing very delious and the service was exceptional as always

Food was ok service was good until we got the bill and when told we had a compere the market deal we were told we should have called to book and not booked on line also we would have to pay in cash which we did . Made to feel a little uncomfortable .

Lovely surroundings, delicious food, exemplary service. No criticisms at all. Four of us enjoyed a mixture of courses and had no room for dessert at the end.

Friendly, helpful staff and good food, with prompt service in a comfortable setting. If I were to be picky, the music was just a little too loud for my taste, but not so loud that I felt it worth mentioning to the staff.

Excellent food and service. Biryani portion would have been enough for two! Decor and atmosphere were very good - lively but not excessively exuberant clientele.
