Being made to pay a service charge is unacceptable and I will be avoiding this restaurant again. If I want to pay a service charge I will - we are not in the USA.

The food was excellent but service was very slow with over an hour's wait for our starters to arrive. The restaurant was extremely busy so we could see why there was a delay however in the end the quality of food made up for the time delay.

Unfortunately we were sat too near a noisy group which made conversation difficult at times. This rather spoilt our dining experience which is a pity because the food was very good.

The staff were great and the food very tasty BUT they flaunt the 2metre distance rule with tables set as they were pre-lockdown! Felt very uncomfortable.

The staff were working really hard and our waiter was lovely, but unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for our food and it was disappointing when it came.

Good food. Overpriced. Unclear bill, unable to breakdown and see what we actually ate/ordered - on reviewing at home feel like we were definitely overcharged. Lovely food. But would not return. Did not really stick to social distancing as families were sat on table directly next to us.

Excellent attentive service! Delicious tasty food too . Didn’t have a naan bread as they hang them up and I prefer it on a plate so it won’t go cold as quickly. Will definitely go again would recommend.

A very pleasant visit to The Purple Pakora, Poynton. The service was good, food good, a good table near the window and pleasant, subdued, music playing. Not a criticism, because it is a matter of personal taste, but my 'two chilli' dish was a little under-spiced for my taste, I will choose a 'three chilli' dish when we go again, which we definitely will.
