Excellent food and good friendly service at a very reasonable price. Best squid I've had any where and the burgers were very tasty. Too full to try a pud!

We went early for dinner and the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. The food was delicious as always and arrived at the table very quickly after ordering.

Food was good and cocktails were excellent! Enjoyed the atmosphere with a group of friends. Waitresses were friendly and attentive and brought orders out quickly.

Really nice food, great puddings to share. Staff were super friendly and we didn't feel rushed at all when we took our time to order. Will definitely return as such good value.

Brilliant staff, both kitchen and serving! They go the extra mile and are so friendly! Ok onto the food...delicious. I've been here twice for breakfast and their salmon bagel is amazing!!!

Great choice on the breakfast menu and food was delicious. I was hoping for a lunch menu at half one in the afternoon but this didn't kick in until after 2....the choice of food on the lunch/evening menu looked delicious. I will definitely be back a bit later next time!

Great choice for breakfast and accommodated all requests. Service just needed to be a bit quicker to make it a 5. Will be visiting again

Excellent service, staff were friendly and helpful - regular check backs with out being OTT. Food came quickly and was extremely tasty - I recommend the Cuban burger and chilli pizza fries! Go today - you will not be disappointed.

First time here and wanted to try it for some time. The layout is nice, staff are friendly. The food tastes better than it looks. Would go again.

I was told that I booked s table for 2 when it was in fact 3 as their app stated different. We then had to wait for 15 minutes for a table of 3 people

Absolutely great! Great food great atmosphere. Draft beer was off but bottles available. Soft drinks are just cans but cost £2. No problem as everything else is very reasonably priced.

Great food as always - I had the breakfast fries and my friends had the Portland and a full English. The food was served quickly as well.

I had the Breakfast Pizza fries +beans-they were unreal. My boyfriend had the Portland breakfast +although he wasn't keen on the steak,he still enjoyed it.

Staff are really friendly and the service is always good! Was disappointed with the pizza fries, we ordered the jerk chicken and the latino, the chips were stodgy, not great flavour and the chicken wasnt great quality. But others at the table enjoyed their burgers! And the desserts were delicious!

Food was lovely as always but the service was terrible today - waited 40 minutes before they would take our food order and staff were unfriendly.

Appreciate lovely food but there's a guy brushing dust off a staircase behind us while we're eating . Dirty ! Chef and kitchen staff running up and down all the time getting things from store room I guess , slam the door shut made a loud bang each time seems they don't care . Surely this is only a cafe not quite behave like a restaurant just yet .

Brilliant food, amazing service and great drinks. Ended up taking dessert home as a takeaway and didn't regret it! Member of staff working in there extremely polite and knew the menu

Had a Katsu bunny, rock salt and pepper fries, unicorn burger and Latin pizza fries. Smurf Murphy sundae and a Nutella sundae. All good stuff. Service was okay.

Great place! Been there a few times. Always busy to booking is a must! Breakfasts a delicious - a few more veggie options would be a great addition to the menu.

The food I ordered came out in great sized portions and it was delicious. I would definitely go back there and the service was quick too

Amazing as usual! Pancakes were a little thicker than normal but the thickness actually made then nicer. Staff service was excellent also! If you go to Tavern then your obviously not a cool kid!

Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. We were offered drinks promptly and food didn't take too long to arrive. The portions are huge and the food was very rich and tasty. I particularly recommend the pizza fries! Will definitely return.

Brunch was lovely food fresh and hot only downside took quite a while for your food to be served once the order had been taken.

The food was nice. I ordered Cajun steak and chips... I would have scored them a 6 but the Cajun rub on the steak was far too salty and I've recently learned that when my brother visited afew weeks ago he actually thought the same thing. it was a shame because the steak itself was cooked perfectly. However, overall we really enjoyed it here and the waitress was lovely x We ended the meal sharing the double donut dessert. That was filth! By filth I mean, SO GOOD

Gorgeous food and lots to choose from. Great atmosphere and decor too. Cocktails were lovely! We will definitely be returning to Portland St again soon. 😊
