The food was excellent but the service was poor and a little arrogant

Polpo is a firm favourite of mine, however last night the drinks orders simply took too long. We were getting 1 cocktail & 1 beer! We had to follow up our order 3/4 times and only after then we received our drinks (nearly 30/40mins later?). I would have hoped for slightly better service.

Great meal loved the starters, didn’t like the fennel meat balls though!

The booking, service and food was excellent. A bit too crowded and loud, would preferred not to have music

We stayed from 13.00 till 15.00. We were really looked after by the staff and left an extra tip above the included in the bill tip. Very friendly in a good way. Food excellent though chops were a bit tough. Would definitely go again to this chain. Thanks

I think food is very good and still good value. However, cocktails are really overpriced for the miniature glasses served.

The restaurant was neither good nor bad. But nothing was memorable that would make me want to go back. Too many other places to dine at.

Was really rushed, waitress kept pushing asking if we wanted anything else, ccollect plates literally right after the last bite. pushed the bill to us before we we asked for it. Even over heard the waitress say to the manager " yeah I'll get rid of them asap to free up the table. Shame really as wine and food was great but that experience will not make me go back

Service great, ambience spot on, the only reason I'm not giving Polpo 5 stars is the food didn't really hit the mark. Dishes were small and I've had better Italian food elsewhere.

My Husband & I went for lunch for my Birthday. It's my favourite restaurant & we go every year. The one disappointment was that they'd taken my favourite dessert off the menu which was the Nutella Pizza. Aside from that, great as always.

Polpo is my go to place when I’m in London. It’s a great place to meet people, cocktails are good and fried olives and Frito Misto are my favourites 💙

Good we had booked this busy restaurant for a mid week lunch. Waiter Victor was knowledgable about the wine and enthusiastic in recommending dishes from the menu. All the food was served hot and was very tasty. A definite hit and we will be back.

Great service, fab food, good cocktails. Recommend the lamb and roast potatoes.

We usually love Polpo but the service was incredibly slow and we had to check our order two or three times with the staff as they didn't know what we had ordered.

Always great at Polpo Soho. Food amazing and great atmosphere. 4th time visiting and would always go back. Make sure you book in advance as weekends get busy
