Very disappointing visit. Service was terrible despite there only being a few people in the restaurant. The food was tasty but not very hot and half of the meal didn't arrive.

Food was good, but sadly the restaurant didn't live up to expectations as a birthday treat.

the service was bad. they wanted us to leave within 40 mins of us sitting there. If they were closing soon they should have let us know when we entered. at the end they literally cleared the table without asking if we were done with the food.

Not great. Waiter couldn’t care less. Lack of service. Crab and chilli linguine bland. Decor no longer rustic looking, just tatty and dirty. Polpo was once great. Now overpriced and lacking in flavour.

Great food, friendly service and good value for money. The portion size was generous considering they are tapas dishes and plenty to share. We came here for a pre-theatre dinner and left extremely satisfied. The venue is trendy but space however is small and can feel like you are sitting on top of one another particularly when it gets busy. It is a trendy venue.

It had been a while since our last visit to Polpo and it was just as good as we remembered. Even better, I have to say, that we didn’t have to queue up outside to get a table anymore. I loved the nduja arancini and asparagus pizzette. Will definitely go back.

It was a special celebration, so reserved a table online, and requested a bottle of champagne on arrival. Only there wasnt one,on arrival as requested. Also, there were crab shells on my partners crab brushetta, that made cuts on his gums and he was bleeding. the manager apologized and offered us a few free things, still not a good experience.

This is our second visit to Covent Garden Polpo and we love the atmosphere and the food is wonderful. Very difficult to choose off the menu and the specials of the day are always delicious. Our favourite lunch place.
