The Spinach Pie was too salty and the chicken on skewer was tasteless. I was expecting great things. Very disappointed and won't be back. The waitress was polite.

Great restaurant, good food, great service what more is there to say , apart from reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend if looking for a great Greek restaurant.

Excellent choice with fast and attentive service - a mistake with one meal was dealt with very efficiently and quickly rectified. All in all a very pleasant experience and we will be returning soon.

Lovely staff and excellent food had 3 great starters between us and loved them all especially the chicken can not fault the food. Will be back again.

Went to Plato for lunch. The food was very good and staff were attentive and friendly. This was the first visit for my friend and she was impressed.

Food was delicious, authentic, fresh and flavoursome. Staff were lovely, service great. All in all a great experience. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back soon.

Friendly staff, relaxing Greek beach themed decor and good value tasty food. Good choice on set menu which is available all evening. Also specials on the blackboard. I will definitely be back.

My first visit to Plato and hopefully not my last. Excellent food and friendly relaxed atmosphere. After a starter and main course we had to miss out on desserts. That was a shame because I'm sure they would have been terrific. Only minor personal point was that the souvlaki was great but the bucket of 'pub' chips were a bit unnecessary and looked out of place. Definitely a place to be recommended.

Amazing team at plato. Always make us feel so welcomed. Most importantly the food is to die for. We had the hummus with pita bread, fried feta and chicken tagina follwed by the lamb koftes. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Superb food, atmosphere and staff. First time at this restaurant but not the last. No wonder it was so busy. Staff were very happy and attentive.

Dining room very nice. Food great. Service generally very good. Welcome a bit disappointing, (“you’re not a Groupon are you?”); we were. Pointed to our table rather than taken to it. No smile or eye contact. Waitress didn’t know what grape the house wine was. “It’s Greek”. Okay, moans over. The other waiting staff were very good. Very helpful waiter. Food was good and well presented. We will go back as full paying customers. I guess a lot people use Groupon deals to try out restaurants, so the restaurants should use this to showcase what they’ve got rather than make them feel like cheapskates. We tend to use three local restaurants a lot but Plato will definitely be added to our list. Well worth a visit.

Nice restaurant with relaxed atmosphere. Had a selection of starters which were all quite tasty. Not the best Greek food I have tested but enjoyable. Had moussaka for main course which was delicious. Reasonable selection of wines. Staff pleasant and professional. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I booked a table here for Valentines Day, we are both big fans of Greek food and were very much looking forward to it. To start we had Hummus and Tatziki which came with some lovely fresh pittas. Both dips were spot on and very nicely seasoned. If anyone enjoys a darker ale I highly recommend having a bottle of the Volkan Dark. For the mains I had the Lamb Kelftiko which was absolutely delicious, the lamb melted in my mouth and the flavors were well balanced. My wife had the Chicken Souvlaki which was perfectly cooked, incredibly moist and not charred on the outside. Clean and delicate light flavoring, just how Souvlaki should be. Having gotten used to Turkish kebabs over the last few years this was a nice change. Now, I'll start by saying that I dream of this Baklava I had in Santorini and have yet to see one match it. The Baklava we ordered came out and it was incredibly similar to this one, It was a large slice (rather than the bitesize pieces) which was a welcome sight. If i had to criticize it though I would say, there was a lot of walnut and could use more pistachio, and it was more like a pie with a puff pastry top rather than layer upon layer of filo treacle honey goo. As my wife had ordered the Souvlaki she ended up with more pitta, a tub of tatziki and olives so in retrospect we should have gone with actual starters but we'll keep that in mind for next time. Happy with the value as well, we really went to town and it wasn't bank breaking. Would definitely recommend.

Had lunch here last week and my first experience of Greek food . Food was delicious and staff were very attentive . Overall a very nice experience .

Nice food, king prawn starter is very tasty......well situated and enough room on your tables to make sure you don't feel cramped, the owners were very friendly and talkative as well.

The food was just quite good. I feel presentation could improve though. Tomatoes seemed to be scarce in each of my courses. The service hasn’t improved since the last time. Staff friendly enough but just not attentive enough. The experience wasn’t a smooth one. The place was cold also so my 84 year old mum was glad to get home for a heat. Wouldn’t hurry back I’m sorry to say.

The meal was fabulous and the staff were great the atmosphere was warm and made you relax we will definitely be back in the future

Food was nice and waitresses were friendly. When it came to serving coffees waiter accidentally spilled coffee over me. I was understanding as these things happen but we were charged full bill and as we left no one came over to check if I was ok...wont be back unfortunately.

Delicious, fresh Greek style food. Really friendly and helpful staff and a great casual dining environment. Can’t wait to go back and take the family. Or even go for breakfast. Ten out of ten!

Service was excellent and food well presented and good standard, would have given full marks but for the fact that I had to take the bill up to the bar and pay as we had waited a while for the card machine. Seems to be very popular, busy restaurant and would recommend giving it a try for something a bit different.

Meal was delicious, with so many intriguing tastes and flavours. Staff so very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll certainly be back again.
