Fantastic choice of authentic Greek food. Service was great and the staff were informative and attentative. I would definitely return. On leaving the waiter informed us that our tip was going to be send to Greece in support of people affected by the recent forest fires. A nice touch.

Staff very friendly and approachable. I had chicken souvlaki which was cooked to perfection, and tasted even better than when I was in Greece. Definitely a must try

Went for Sunday lunch which was our first time in the restaurant and food and service were great. There was also a great atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Will definitely go back.

I can’t praise this restaurant highly enough a definite 10. Food is amazing, so fresh and tasty, the best Moussaka I have ever had. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Fantastic menu with something for everyone. Pork souvlaki was a standout item as it’s beautifully cooked and comes with tzatziki, pitta, olives and chips! Will return.

Nice decor, friendly efficient staff. Great food and generous portions. Sharing platters or starters good idea as great selection. Good value for money even before a 10% NHS discount. Looking forward to next visit.

We had a wonderful time in Plato. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. Our meal was fantastic. We both had beef stifado and the meat was so tasty and tender. We will definitely be back.

Went for lunch. Menu had good choice. Excellent food and very good value. Service excellent, attentive and friendly. All round a very good experience and will be back again soon.

Very casual with the blue and washed wood effect decor known to the Greek islands. Only had one course that being moussaka which was delicious. Staff were very pleasant and lunchtime price was good too.

The food is so fresh and authentic. A really extensive menu too. And with the way the place is decorated you really do feel like you’re in a restaurant in Greece!

Lovely restaurant with contemporary decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and well presented although the wait between starter and main was a touch too long. Prices very reasonable for food but £2.50 for a small bottle of tonic is extortionate so points off for that. Toilet cubicles are clean but a bit of a squeeze. The Greek musicians added an authentic feel. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would recommend it.

There are not many options for a vegetarian main meal, a few starters are decent, but expected a bit more selection in this day and age!

Excellent authentic Greek restaurant. A good menu choice with flexibility and good service. Decent wine list with some lesser known Greek wines. Will happily return.

Love Plato! Been a number of times now both with the kids and with friends and food has always been excellent and friendly service. Greek musicians on Saturday night too add to the atmosphere. Will be back.

When we arrived we got a great welcome then. The food did the talking great starter plenty of it Main same plenty a couple of drinks all for 2 people more than satisfied all for under £40 We will return

A little piece of Greece in Bothwell. Great atmosphere, wonderful food and each member of staff attentive and helpful. The food was the most authentic I’ve tasted outside Greece. Will definitely return and recommend to others

Really busy for a Wednesday evening but the service was friendly and efficient my friend did not want chips with her meal and she was offered a lovely salad instead. The food was excellent and well presented good value for money highly recommended

Second visit and again a most enjoyable experience. This time we were a party of 6. Staff were lovely and checked on us regularly and made sure we didn't run out of drinks. Great friendly service of delicious food all of which arrived at same time for each of us and no-one left waiting The atmosphere in the room is really pleasant. Nice to see it doing so well

Lovely atmosphere, attentive service and the best Greek food we’ve had! We would highly recommend Plato, the Greek donuts and dipping sauce were such a nice way to finish the meal! We will definitely be visiting again soon.
